We all know actions speak louder than words but Matt Southall's statement is again very impressive - this appears to be someone who really gets Charlton. PLEASE remain true to those words and we'll be off to an great start together.
Fantastic way to start the year. I think it's become apparant that at least some of us are cautious of where we go next. But surely it's a risk worth taking? Better the devil you know? Not when the devil is a yellow toothed old arsehole like Roland!
I think we will see how ambitious the new owner is within the next few weeks, but let's all enjoy a fresh start.
I'm not sure anyone wants the sort of spending along the lines of Chelsea or Man City. Just give us side where the name on our kids shirt last year is still playing next season, and the side is improved incrementally.

kept thinking .. it's not gonna happen, not gonna happen .. now it has .. and we will see what we will see .. I am not expecting a flood of cash until next close season with just enough investment to keep us afloat for the next 4/5 months .. the start of a whole new era, let the new guvnors settle in and find their collective feet
