The B20....and it’s a goodbye from us.

As the takeover has now taken place, the B20 has now disbanded. We will arrange to transfer the balance of our funds to the Upbeats in the next few days.
One behalf of the B20 I would like to thank everybody who helped us in any way whatsoever since our first foray to Belgium in February 2016. We would also like to thank all the other protesters in other groups who worked so hard to free us from the dead hand of Roland.
Last night I watched us lose at a very wet Swansea.....I was as happy as a butcher’s dog!

I don't think anybody got under Roland's skin more than the B20. Well done.7

Thanks to all at B20 and those of CARD, ROT and WAR for your massive contribution to the overall aim of getting rid of RD.14

I jest of course fishing for easy LOLs.FishCostaFortune said:Who?
Although I believe RD would have sold up eventually anyway, I think it probably can't be understated the effect that direct action in Belgium had on accelerating that process.8 -
Welcome back Andy, sorry I didnt see you last night and thanks for all your efforts in Belgium and at home these past few years, it was vital in never letting him forget he had bought the wrong club. Hope to see you on 'the old front line' again soon.5

Chaps i salute you all! Well done in your efforts. Lets hope we never need you again...ever2

Cheers Clive. Likewise many thanks for your efforts in the last few years. Last night was virtually a home game for me these days. If you’re coming to the Cardiff game in March, let me know and I will stand you a pint.SE7toSG3 said:Welcome back Andy, sorry I didnt see you last night and thanks for all your efforts in Belgium and at home these past few years, it was vital in never letting him forget he had bought the wrong club. Well done to you all on a stirling job.
You have always reminded me somewhat of that popular 80's sitcom Allo Allo. I always wondered who was Rene but was obviously more interested on who took on the Vicki Michelle role. Herr Flick was obviously the Belgian Shitweasle himself...0 -

I always thought the protests were better served in Roly's home town. He hated it.1 -
I salute all those from whatever group got their arses out to Belgium and flew the flag for us.
Ok.....we are not going to necessarily believe that those actions did in fact hasten his departure but they certainly did make him wobble on more than a few occasions and got him feeling distinctly uncomfortable and deservedly so.
We have a long standing tradition at Charlton of being pro active when pushed too far and long may that tradition continue.
I might like to add that I respect those who didn’t choose to join in........However a certain few (particularly a certain someone on another forum), who belittled and denigrated their fellow Addicks at every opportunity who put themselves out to carry the fight to the front lines so to speak, whilst they sat behind their keyboards shamefully taking the piss. How little they understand what being an Addick is all about.
For those arrogant, pathetic know nothing few, there will never be forgiveness from me......you know who you are!
UP THE ADDICKS!11 -
Well done people , got the job done in the end !

Well done. You were the trailblazers in Belgium and got right up his nose.1

If we need an AD20 in future, I'll be up for joining in for that one. However I feel the police may be far less forgiving.8

Sorry to hear this Andy! I was hoping for a B20 swansong to remind him that we will never forgive or forget...2

Well done all those that royally pissed him off in Belgium, seeing him looking out of the restaurant window with you lot outside was for me a great moment in the protests. It took them right to him.13

Brilliant work. He must have been wondering where you would pop up next. Thank you for all your efforts.0

Our remaining funds, amounting to £272.88p have been donated this afternoon to the Charlton upbeats via the community trust.
I thought we shone a light on RD and the whole world could see what a lying twat he is.
On to the next chapter, I can't wait.35
