As he's a free agent, probably won't sign until after the window has closed, if at all.2

How good do you have to be, to be better than Sarr & Pearce? It's not a high standard. Every chance he's better.LargeAddick said:
Ok, maybe journeyman the wrong choice of word, but his playing record isn’t exactly inspiring. One to improve the team and push us to the next level? I very much doubt it.Chunes said:
Blimey, at least Driesen went a bit further than judging a player on their Wikipedia!!LargeAddick said:
Looked on wiki, totally underwhelmed. A journeyman footballer if ever I saw one. Definitely not one who will improve the team in my opinion. And definitely not one who will push us on to the next level.Scoham said:

Clicked on one, saw he was 29, must be that one.
Went back and realised they’re twins.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Florentin_Pogba
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mathias_PogbaFlorentin is a defender playing in the MLS, must be him.
Mathias has played in England and Scotland but he’s a striker currently in the Spanish lower leagues.Sign all three brothers and we could have a spine of Pogba’s through the middle of the team.
He's had four clubs (not including a loan) and he's 29. I wouldn't call him a journeyman.
I trust in Gallen & Bowyer. Hardly failed us yet.
Anyway, I guess I have a bit more faith in our scouting structure and I'm excited to see him play. (If this is true.)1 -
Bluff as with some shit footballer , then bring out the average signings and we can talk them right up in a huge sigh of relief0
-
MLS = Championship level?
Plan might be a short term deal to act as cover for the rest of the season.
Commercial genius as well to get the kids wearing shirts with Pogba on the back.2 -
If Pogba is training with us is true then surely this is a fact rather than a rumour.0
-
MLS second division. I’m always willing to give new players a chance but in this case, underwhelmed1
-
I didnt think the players were training yesterday. LB said after the Fulham game that he had given them the rest of the week off.3
-
Was it this Pogba that got married recently?0
-
Lilian Thuram---Yohann Thuram.
Cousins, just saying.4 -
Atlanta aren’t in the second division. They’re one of the best teams in the MLS. Won the play offs in 2018 and made it to the semis in 2019.Todds_right_hook said:MLS second division. I’m always willing to give new players a chance but in this case, underwhelmed3 -

We can worry about pushing to the next level later, right now we need to ensure we stay at this level.LargeAddick said:

Just to be clear... we are talking about Florentine biscuits right ?

Anyway we have Hady Ghandour on a two week trial.

I reckon you might be wrong on that one, I think Sarr & Pearce are at a higher level than a MLS sides reserve team.Chunes said:

Worth signing Florentin just so we can sing he's better than Paul...9
-
To update the cliché, football isn't played on Wikipedia. I'd trust Gallen to have done his homework, and Bowyer to make a judgement based on what he sees in training.

Where do you get that he was stuck in the reserves? Not from his Wikipedia.se9addick said:

Of course most teams and leagues don't record reserve appearances on their Wikipedia.2 -
Are we sure that he is the player training who is signed?Could he be on trial and another player is training who has signed due to be announced?0

We got Abraham Odoh from them and had another of their kids on trial last season too. Maybe we have a tie up!cfgs said:Anyway we have Hady Ghandour on a two week trial.

Florentin is 6'2" and left footed, so if he impresses he could be the Sarr/Pearce upgrade0
-
He was injured for a period of time so they sent him out to their second team to gain match sharpness. Different way of doing it, but essentially the same as playing for U23s here.se9addick said:

Don’t know enough about him but know he’s a left footed centre back who is quite strong. That’s pretty much about it.10 -
Yeah. The only difference is their reserve side plays in a league where performances are recorded.
If it worked like that everywhere we'd be moaning every player had played in the reserves.sam3110 said:Florentin is 6'2" and left footed, so if he impresses he could be the Sarr/Pearce upgrade
Looks like he can also play left-back judging from YouTube.
