Starting to lean more towards a few loans and a perm will do. With the right short term loans and that one quality permanent it should be enough to see us stay up as long as we hold on to Lyle. Then it's a massive rebuild in the summer, let's have it right as said before only about 6-8 of these are good enough for us, rest need contracts running down or loans to League1/2 teams.
I trust Bowyer and Gallen to get it right2 -
Do we reckon Naby said to Bows, "Gaffer, I've got a mate who's just finished the MLS season. Any chance he could join us for training to keep himself fit?".barstool said:On the POGBA story, isn’t Sarr one of his best mates so guess that where the link comes from. Brotherly love

Or perhaps a realistic and achievable expectation is 5 wins and 5 draws?seth plum said:We can't afford complacency.
At least seven more wins are needed in my view, we won't get them only by signing players in this window, Bowyer has to continue to make demands.
It would give us the target 50 points.

We could have done with 6 loanees during our injury crisis!moutuakilla said:
3 loans seems odd - why would we want 6 loanees?Scoham said:https://www.londonnewsonline.co.uk/wait-for-lee-bowyer-to-pen-charlton-contract-is-over-now-its-over-to-esi-to-bring-in-the-reinforcements-needed-before-transfer-window-deadline/
Cawley reporting we could sign four players, three being loans and one permanent.
Does though mention things can change in a matter of hours, nevermind days.

Very true but surely clubs will be less likely to loan us players if they won't play. Maybe that just applies to the younger players and might be offset if we are now paying a fee/more of the wagesOggy Red said:

Loans make sense in that we don’t want to offer 3 year deals to those available players who won’t be part of the rebuilding job this summer.
Get in some temporary Prem u23 quality to see us over the line this season.
You can bet Bow and Gallen have a master plan for the next three years. This summer should be really exciting with a proper, considered squad rebuild. Offering players 3 year deals to mirror Bowyer’s, the journey can continue.
Gallen will be so relieved he doesn’t have to do another complete rebuild, offering players 12mnths, after this summer.5 -
Idah not in Norwich squad...10

It's so exciting...5

Toney isn't going anywhere, priced out and Posh are going for it, Maddison will end up with one of us or Birmingham by the looks of social media, Hull with an outside chance. Idah sounds a decent loan, Norwich fans disappointed he hasn't been given a chance. Troy Parrott would be a good land if that's a link.
Sounds like what we are looking at could be Idah, Pogba? The Sheffield United defender, Docherty and maybe Maddison. Is that enough to keep us up?0 -
Toney being priced out of move to help them with promotion, and he’s continued his good form, I reckon P’Boro will actively look to sell in the summer, teams might think the 8-10m being touted is worth it come June.1
-
He's just scored again, on 17 now and has 18 games to go, he will hit 25 minimum. There will be a proper tussle for him in the summerBR7_addick said:Toney being priced out of move to help them with promotion, and he’s continued his good form, I reckon P’Boro will actively look to sell in the summer, teams might think the 8-10m being touted is worth it come June.1 -

One for the stats people, good comparison between Lyle and Toney0 -
As an American I can tell you, with the exception of maybe LAFC, Altanta play the prettiest football in MLS. Great quality and fun to watchJamesSeed said:
It's quite possible that he's just training with the club as a favour to someone? If not, and they're interested in him, I suspect it'll be for a good reason, as Gallen and Bowyer have shown they have an eye for a player.LargeAddick said:
Looked on wiki, totally underwhelmed. A journeyman footballer if ever I saw one. Definitely not one who will improve the team in my opinion. And definitely not one who will push us on to the next level.Scoham said:

Clicked on one, saw he was 29, must be that one.
Went back and realised they’re twins.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Florentin_Pogba
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mathias_PogbaFlorentin is a defender playing in the MLS, must be him.
Mathias has played in England and Scotland but he’s a striker currently in the Spanish lower leagues.Sign all three brothers and we could have a spine of Pogba’s through the middle of the team.
Atlanta United FC was only set up in 2017 and has the highest average attendance (52,510) in the MLS, and an incredible stadium.
And for the second time it's the MLS’s most valuable team. The third-year franchise is valued at $500 million on Forbes’ annual list, up from $330 million last year.
None of that means the standard is massively high though.

Surprising to see Taylor not finish top in any of the comparisons between him, Wells and Toney.Braziliance said:https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/ivan-toney-nahki-wells-lyle-3777276.amp?__twitter_impression=true
