    The sad truth is we were never going to replace Gallagher in this window, if Bostock signs then he will be a 2nd or 3rd choice, after Maddison and another potential player that didn't get accepted.
    The boy wonder from a decade ago would get 100% support from me despite being a last day rescue act.
    McGeady is the alternative to Maddison as a winger/attacking midfielder, Bostock’s a CM, more of a Gallagher replacement.

    I've said this before - Bostock made a name for himself at the same time as Jonjo and Jack Wilshere broke through.  All 3 were great players but all more interested in outdoing each other than playing as a team.

    Hasn't really gone brilliantly for any of them

    Saying that - our recent record of improving players could be invaluable because if we can improve Bostock he's a very very talented player.

    McGeady signing effectively ended my hopes of seeing Maddison sadly.  He's a left sided midfielder/ winger/forward so there wouldn't be enough room for both.  I expect McGeady and Williams to do 60 minutes and 30 minutes respectively in a fair few games.

    Probably because it's not accurate, sky sports said earlier we wanted £4M

    So saying £3M wouldn't get 1 boot is not accurate if you only want £4M for the player lol.

    Personally hope Sky have it wrong cos I think Brentford will match that, but wont if its £5M

    Probably but you can have more than 5 loan players - just no more than 5 in the matchday squad.

    Matt Southall has gone awfully quiet and I also noticed his deleted a couple of tweets, I hope he’s just busy and not regretting he’s earlier confidence, he said about 1 being done by midday earlier I hope he hasn’t set himself to fail here.

    Says failed to load tweet but I can still see Matt's reply to me about not getting Lyle's boot for £3m

    Might have muted tweets on it as even I was getting a ton of notifications from people responding to it

    It is still on there, go on his account page. Click on TWEETS AND REPLIES, scroll down and it is still there.
