Indeed, and we only got away with it because Lee Bowyer and team are miracle workers....no thanks to the ShitweaselTodds_right_hook said:

This is it. Everyone is afraid to say this for fear of being branded a Roland apologist, but the longer this goes on, you realise that for a chairman actively looking to sell up, we had some very very good windows.hoof_it_up_to_benty said:

Nobody can claim they thought this was gonna be the outcome when we were all high fiving about Roland buggering off.
The old git will be pissing himself at this.
last year was a good one, remember when we replaced a 14 goal striker with josh Parker0 -
I reckon we are just waiting for FA clearance on one, as you gotta have some big bollocks to reply to that tweet with 😎7

Surely Charlton would have checked all this out before going down this line for the player?0 -
The phone is being repaired in Carphone Warehouse - still under warranty. Hopefully back soon.charltonbob said:
What on his supa dupa deal phone ? Crikey what fun, looks like that beast southall bought up all of the tuck shop as well, lets hope the rotter didn't spend all of his money there.flyingkiwiDK said:Can’t wait for our “Super dupa” marquee signing to be unveiled0 -

Lowest budget in the league, and agents/managers laughing at us when we told them how much money we had spring to mind as quotes from LB under RD.Todds_right_hook said:

We were pushing for promotion and needed someone to get us over the line. Parker did a job at league 1 level. This time we are in danger of relegation. At championship level. We need more.Todds_right_hook said:

Look we still may make the 2 or 3 big signings we need - but it was a feckin miracle the old fuck helped Gallen get the players in over the summer he did looking back on it.

New shoes Matt?

If it's not already too late, you might want to consider deleting that before it goes down as one of the most stupid posts.DamoNorthStand said:

Now that is a transfer coup. Never saw that coming. Bet he'll smash them in every week. At least it's not to a rival.....this season.cantersaddick said:

* Have to be honest - it's a refreshing change to see the approach of the new board after the crap we put up with over the last two windows.

Oh the irony!golfaddick said:not sure where I stand with MS. I've said a few times on here it might be best if he just kept quiet because the more he opens his mouth or tweets the more he puts his foot in it.
I mellowed a bit yesterday & was quite pleased with the signing of McGeady - but having seen his messages this morning I wished he would just be like other chairman & only say something when he actually has something to say !!!

He's selling already3 -
Gallen and Bows made them decent windows because they picked up quality for nothing. Gambler paid off. We do so in the summer again but also made poor signings, mainly because we were working on a budget that was useless for this division. No credit should go the way of Roland ever.DamoNorthStand said:
I knew this would happen! I think he was a total and utter CUNT.Covered End said:

There you go. I total PRICK.
Is that better?
However, it is a fact that our new owner still needs to prove he is a step up in terms of transfers.
What the flying fuck is wrong with that comment?
Fucks sake.7 -
Just came back on line after 3 hours.
Ok no more signings, maybe Matt is waiting for transfer fees and wage demands to drop ?
The good news is Taylor can't leave now because to lose your best striker would look shocking a few hours before the window shuts. If we were in mid table I'm convinced Taylor would have left (he still might)
There is still time for Matt Southall to look good but last day deals often fail.
Taylor stays= good window
Taylor goes= bad window
It's that clear cut.

More importantly can we find out where everyone got transferred on that football grid game thing?1

7pm, 9pm, 10pmThat is my random hunch for announcements

Maybe I should have stated Gallen gets the credit. Just assuming Gallen is also equipped to do what he needs in this window and beyond.1
