A family were stopped by police in the west country yesterday as they were going fishing, they came from London. They were fined and given a police escort back to the borders of the county

I was returning from the radio show when I saw an owner with two beautiful staffs on extending leads walking on the sea wall, he was exiting to the footpath I was on and it was obvious he hadn't seen me so I held back Bailey and Valli at the foot of the stairs the dogs came round the wall lunging at my two, he quickly ushered the two dogs back under some sort of control and I walked on. Only to turn around further on to see him beating the dogs for lunging, so I let rip at him. Telling him he was supposed to be charge of the animals and he should be looking at himself not the dogs.

Yeah, but they were isolated in their car, so what's the problem?! It's not me, its the others you should be stopping going out.

    Wibble.

Took my daily exercise in the form of a dog walk this morning.
Dog did it's business in a small grass patch on the edge of the pavement.
Family of  4 (2 adults, 2 small kids) following along behind, clearly saw me stopped to deal with dog doo - made no attempt to stop or cross the road,  just proceeded to amble by within 3 feet of me rabbiting away to each other.
Later on a different Street chanced to look behind and a fellow dog walker with dog off lead gaining on me quickly, obviously no intention of deviating, got within 15 feet before I had to make the effort to cross the road.
Finally, on the way home suddenly confronted with another family of 4, coming towards me on bikes, 4 abreast ffs.
I stood stock still staring at them before Dad whispered to mum and the 2 kids and they switched to single file before continuing past within 3 feet of me.
By the time I got home my blood was boiling.
    What is it with people.
Every day that I go out it feels like it is only me crossing and re-crossing roads and generally making an effort to maintain social distancing.
Sorry if it is the wrong thread for this.
I really don't understand how or why people can't understand and adhere to basic advice.

Is there anyone on here who is prepared to admit to not adhereing to it that could possibly explain why?
Probably the same reason people break speed limits or drive too closely to the car in front.

I am obeying all the but I feel much safer walking around with all the "nutters" than I usually do in a car.

How else, was it tied to the bumper?

We have had lots of motor bikes and sports type cars with modified exhausts zooming along the A20 in Maidstone. The limit is 30mph but many do double that. Last night had a procession of quad bikes and scrambling type bikes  speeding along here. I'm pretty sure they were not being used for shopping for essential items or going to work.
