    Really sad news this. I saw the Stranglers last October and they were in great form, with Dave bobbing up and down to the music, still loving what he did after all those years.
    Hard to think it will be the same when I see them next, if they tour again that is, because I can't imagine anyone being able to take his place. RIP.

    Sad news. There was something about the original Stranglers, each one had a unique playing style and sound. Jet on drums, JJ on bass and Dave on keyboards. Nice & Sleazy keyboard solo was my favourite DG moment.
