    Around 50 short of 1500 members now it seems

    https://www.castrust.org/2020/05/matt-pennycook-mp-joins-cast/

    Greenwich and Woolwich MP Matt Pennycook became the 1448th member of Charlton Athletic Supporters Trust when he joined last week.

    Good to read in the weekly email CAST sends to members that some 400 fans have joined CAST over the past 2 months.

    What's that slogan beloved of unions?  Stronger together?

    I have a feeling the strength of the fans may be tested again in the not-too-distant future, and CAST will be the rallying point.

    People might not agree with the trust but what are the ramifications of working against the Trust

    If you disagree with its methods or principals then surely its better to join and try to argue for another direction rather than just ridicule it

    "A house divided, cannot stand" is what it feels like a bit within the fan ranks at the moment

    There is so much bickering outside the trust with everyone wanting to be "Mr Charlton"  that it makes me wonder if the club can survive with so many divisions

    Also worth it for the work outside the whole ownership shenanigans issue - see the guidance on getting a refund on tickets for the rest of the season: https://www.castrust.org/2020/05/are-you-due-a-refund/

    Haven’t always been a fan of the trust, but after recent events & following today’s little revelations, I have just renewed my membership

    Yep. Great stuff from them today.

    I know people have had problems with the trust for whatever reason in the past.

    There are some pretty evil characters with some major influence in the direction this club taking at the moment.

    We are far far stronger together than against one another.
     Please consider joining the numbers to fight against those who are actively working to destroy this football club.

    I have not been a member of the trust for very long ( I think this is the second year) but I cane to the conclusion that all the Board are talented and well meaning and give up a huge amount of personal time representing us as fans.

    If I want my views represented better, or more forcefully, the best thing to do is to get involved and to add your own views to those of others and if you feel strongly enough, and have the time and inclination, tii ok seek to join the Board.

    The Trust tries to represent every member, as it should, and that can lead to some inertia. If you would like less inertia, participate strongly and you will have success.

    I'm only owed £50 for millwall, they can keep it and take it off a season ticket for 2021-22 when we can attend again.

    Think he means he’s owed £50 by the club for Millwall tickets for the match that didn’t take place.

    It's the way we prefer to be able to run off with the money much more easily....... alternatively you can pay by bank transfer;

    Form here to complete, transfer your £5 and then drop an email to secretary@castrust.org ;

    Great stuff !

    How about a promotion video with the slogan " Keeeeeep trusting CAST " ?

    Tracey could fill Tess Daley's role & Weegie, Claudia Winklewoman....

    One of my lads tell me MS is suing the trust?

    No idea why, if true, surely going to drive up membership numbers!

    Um, if true, that would be because he’s a prize  twunt and anything he gets out of his involvement in Charlton must be one of his last footballl paydays.
