When look at what Bowyer has been up against , 3 different owners, a transfer embargo in Jan, a raft injured players for months, 3 players refusing to see out the contract . IF and it's a big IF but if he does keep us up somehow it really would be some achievement. All I hope is if we prove to be not good enough and are unable to get there people dont start turning let they began to before the break.8

Lucky to have him and yes, the usual suspects will want to drag up the indiscretions of his youth both on and off the pitch, but it has been a privilege to have him as our coach and he comes across excellently in the media.
When and if he moves on to bigger and better, I wish him nothing but the best and the fact that he has been pissing into a force 10 gale for 18 months at Charlton will set him in good stead.

Will know that Bowyer could easily just openly admit to how shit they are.
He'd have nothing to lose. The owners couldn't sack him out of fear and anger. They know us charlton fans would go mad and then they'd just easily be heavily exposed.
Bowyer could easily get another job.
Bowyer runs this place now and so he f*cking should.

If by some unlikely miracle we do stay up, given possible points deductions because of the shenanigans as well as a lack of goals in the side, Lee Bowyer will deserve to win Manager of The Year.
He wouldn't (or won't) of course, given that it's only plucky little Charlton, but how many other candidates would have overcome the obstacles he has encountered?

Was posted on here. Can't remember the source. The EFL warned us not to go ahead with the sale of the club earlier in the year without providing them with proof of source of funds etc. We went ahead with the sale and since then the individuals at ESI have also changed. No idea if a points deduction could apply but it is why we are under a transfer embargo.moutuakilla said:
