I think Stephen owes Ding a massive drink now, £260,000(£10,000 for the high break as well) for an event he wouldn't have been in had Ding decided to travel lol
I had read that around 15 players had pulled out of qualifying but was waiting for names before I mentioned any, I can now confirm that 16 players Including Marco Fu have decided against travelling gor the World Championship Qualification
Zhou Yuelong
Xiao Guodong
Zhao Xintong
Li Hang
Yuan SiJun
Marco Fu
Mei Xiwen
Zhang Anda
James Wattana
Zhang Jiankang
Chang Bingyu
Andy Lee
Chen Zifan
Xu Si
Bai Langning
Lei Peifan
Full seedings list for The 2020 World Championship From 111 downwards are extra top ups, obviously with 16 players pulling out there are more top ups then usual but means more chance for a one in a lifetime opportunity for someone, get through the first couple of rounds and you may face a Joe Perry or an Ali Carter in the final World Championship Qualifying round
I will be keeping a close eye on Iulian Boiko, doesn't turn 15 till September and is a very good player(obviously he wouldn't be in the qualifiers and seeded 116 otherwise lol)
Here they split of the draw into sections, there is betting previews too which the guy normally has good form. basically a 5-10 minute read which i normally highly recommend, although i will read it now as only just posted

no worries, still enjoy you posting your previews/ matches. Just quite interesting and a good read so thought people might like it and a bit more. I think there could be alot of shocks still in the qualifiers, i do have one bet but if people haven't been working on their game or practicing they might struggle so no form to go by it could be similar to the recent ones where players have struggled. I do like final day on FB normally as they show alot of the coverage and usually a bit of drama or key points, so look out for it.

Apologies you didn't get the sarcasm
Suppose it saves me wasting hours in future tho you can get all your updates from snooker backer from now on

fuck me bud, calm yourself. I have said before are you doing a preview... even in my post i pointed out its another preview, its always good to hear your views mostly its not as in depth as these. its just giving people something to read with the build up and i hope you still write up or do previews as per normal. I used to always read SB previews and they are more limited these days, also i enjoy your updates.
if you want to use as an excuse not to post thats fine, but normally you are the first one to post anything draws/ any news so maybe you aren't quite bothered about it much? people do read it and always chip in bits but you do all the hard work which is appreciated.
ps= to think aswell i actually posted thinking you would enjoy reading it
wow didn't even realise they changed the qualifiers to best of 11 now either, im sure paulio would have cleared up or informed us Originally of course all these matches would have been the best-of-19 frames. But to comply with those pesky safety regulations the first three rounds will now be played as the best of 11 frames with only the final round being played as best of 19.

SB only writes up the main events these days, he used to do them all. On twitter he actually does my head in but i enjoy reading his previews/ sometimes tips (although dont think i follow that part) hes not very likeable on twitter lol

Robin has said he is still unsure if he is going to play in the event, he has not been practicing during lockdown or after lockdown and he also suffers from a condition that effects his neck and muscles and that has been effecting him lately so he is unsure. Ronnie O'Sullivan
Nothing has been confirmed but there has been reports and nothing has been denied(normally people close to Ronnie are quick to deny fake rumours) that he is considering not playing in The World Championships, around 200 fans are being allowed into the venue for the matches and Ronnie doesn't feel its safe to do so and doesn't think fans should be back in venues until 2021. tbh as much as I dislike Ronnie I agree, I doubt the fans will have to were facemasks in the venue and if they are needed in shops then why in a closed arena for the length of time are they going to be allowed to sit there without them.
Government have given the go ahead for the world championship to be one of the sporting events piloting a limited number of spectators at sporting events.
A little surprised as I would imagine the average age of snooker spectators is in the dangerous range of Covid 19!!
Good win for 19 year old Amateur Hayden over Riley Parsons who is a professional player, although he hasn't actually won a match since qualifying for the main tour from Q School 2 last year

Brandon was Paul Hunters manager and was key in getting the Grand Prix Furth renamed to The Paul Hunter Classic.
He was also Shaun Murphys manager and more recently has been Kyren Wilson manager

Leong has won 1 match sinxe February 2019 and that was round 1 off the snooker shootout against Nutcharat Wongharuthai
Also a couple of other players I will be looking out for in the qualifiers and hoping for good runs
Jackson Page
Dean Young
Allan Taylor beat Adam Duffy 4-0 in the Challenge Tour final tonight and has earned a tour card for next season
Will also give Taylor confidence going into his qualifier against Vahedi
A little surprised as I would imagine the average age of snooker spectators is in the dangerous range of Covid 19!!
