not really too difficult, but hard enough to keep it interesting.
  • I got bored of all the normal General Knowledge etc rounds on ours so did:

    - Bad waxworks picture round
    - Items close up picture round
    - Beer, cheese or porn? (names, Brighton Blue, Porkslap, that sort of thing)
    - IKEA item or foreign swear word?

Sure there are a couple more I'm forgetting.

People in ours have done personal rounds (like questions about them which have been quite funny as it's included daft stuff they've done etc), sound rounds with computer game noises or theme tunes.

Another good picture round was those face things with two people, some were two celebrities, some were a celeb and people we knew or people on the quiz, some were two people on the quiz etc.
  • Depending on how much fiddling around you fancy doing, a TV themes round, or your own version of the logo quiz?
  • thanks - some good ones there.

It is a simple quiz on zoom, that I will be doing on Google Slides and sharing the screen

This one's a bit morbid.  How did the following people die: Murder, Mishap, Malady or Maturity?  It went down alright with my family though, and is worth playing simply to find out how Dick Wertheim died.

    1. Freddie Mercury, Queen. Malady; Aids.

    2. Julius Caesar, Roman statesman. Murder; Stabbed in the back.

    3. Chuck Berry Rock and Roll pioneer . Maturity; Natural Causes aged 90.

    4. Joseph Stalin, Dictator. Malady; Stroke.

    5. Dale Winton, TV Presenter. Maturity; Natural Causes aged 62.

    6. John Lennon, Beatle. Murder; Shot by Mark Chapman.

    7. Rod Hull, Ventriloquist. Mishap; Fell of his roof fixing his tv aerial.

    8. Agatha Christie, Crime writer.  Maturity; Natural Causes aged 86.

    9. Dave Greenfield, Strangler.  Malady; Covid.

    10. Kirsty McColl,  Old slut on junk. Mishap; Run over by speedboat. But she did save her son's life.

    11. Ronnie Kray, Gangster.  Malady; Heart Attack.

    12. Jimi Hendrix, Guitarist. Mishap; Choked on his own vomit.

    13. Grigori Rasputin, Mad monk. Murder; Poisoned and Shot.

    14. Steve Irwin, TV Presenter. Mishap; Stingray.

    15. Dick Wertheim, Tennis Linesman. Mishap; Hit in the balls by a stray Sephan Edberg serve, causing him to fall out of his chair.

    16. Rosa Parks, Civil rights activist. Maturity; Natural causes aged 92.

    17.  Sam Cooke, Soul singer. Murder; Shot by motel receptionist after a prostitute had stolen his wallet and clothes.

    18. Bena Tshadi, Football Team, DRC. Mishap; All 11 died during in a match after being struck by lightning. The opposing 11 all survived, leading to accusations of witchcraft.

    19. Jerry Stiller, Actor. Maturity; Natural Causes aged 92.

    20. Edmund Ironside,  King of England. Murder; Stabbed on the toilet by an assassin hiding underneath.

    21. John Candy, Actor. Malady; Heart Attack.

    22. Lee Morgan, Jazz musician. Murder; Shot by his wife in an argument at a live gig.

    23. Honor Blackman, Actress. Maturity; Natural Causes aged 94.

    24. Eddie Large, Comedian. Malady; Covid.

  • My daughter has come up with a few original rounds.
    1.  She WhatsApps a common item (Eg toilet roll)and you have to find it, take a selfie with it and WhatsApp it back to her.  Points awarded for order of return.
    2.  You have 60secs to find an item beginning with a specified letter then take a selfie.  Once the 60secs is up you WhatsApp the photo to her.  You get a point if nobody picks the same item as you.  She then shows you a selfie she took and if you match you get an extra point.
