Funny how the Brummie lad off to Germany didn't  worry about getting injured, on the eve of a big move. Doubt very much if LT if off to anywhere other that Scottish Prem

If he’d just seen out his contract he would only have appeared in the 3 games where we took 7 points .
Plenty said if he just finished his contract he could have left a hero , I questioned that because if he played the 3 he’d get slated for missing the last 6 .
The fella done what was best for him and not what’s best for us . He didn’t see out his contract but that finished 3 games ago
seeing out his contract was the absolute least he should've done
    100% this...and if those 7pts had turned into a 9....a complete c@/t end of...!!

Exactly, and he came on and helped his team grab the point that has likely saved them from relegation! Just think if we'd beaten Cardiff (Lyle last game in June) then we'd be sitting on 49 points already.

We shouldn't really still be talking about this mercenary wanker.

Here's my latest conspiracy theory: he couldn't face the thought of having to play in public / on live stream with lockdown hair.

Well, he is that vain, I reckon.

He's a reasonable but getting on mid table championship striker.  He looked better than he was because we had f*** all to compare him with and decent players tend to look great in shit teams.

A much bigger move than Lyle will ever get too.

Let's be a bit realistic here, he is upper championship quality to get so many goals in allegedly a shit side. Still a bellend for leaving us as he has.

I’ve got a feeling that he’s off to Bristol City, they have money to pay his desired wages

Heard Preston are in for him. Would be a good fit as with a decent striker they would have challenged this year.

Out of interest, does anyone know if many players of other clubs refused to play like Taylor did? I haven't seen anything about it in the press and thought there would have been more noise if a lot of players had. Or was it just our Lyle?!

Quite a few, even in the Premier, ask Bournemouth

Those ones at least had the grace to see out their contracts at their respective clubs.

Depressing to think that his ‘big move’ could be a club as ‘exciting’ as a Preston or Bristol City. In time he will absolutely regret the decision he made to down tools.

His reputation won’t recover from it if he doesn’t fire on all cylinders the moment he arrives at his next club

His big move is about money, not club status. The fella has been flogging his boots on Instagram this week, strange case for someone about to sign a life changing contract.

    'Life changing'

Let's not forget it could be a 'life changing' 'big move' to a club as 'exciting' as a Preston or Bristol City

I maybe wrong but pretty sure Fraser played for the remainder of his contract. Just didnt sign the extension.

Many thanks for the information, more players than I realised took the selfish option, not that it makes it any easier to swallow!

I believe that was a case of they wouldn't extend their contracts beyond June 30th, so the manager told them to pack their bags immediately before the season re-started.
