Frustrating, isn’t it. Last three matches, 2 points, should had 9 and we’d be safe. Can’t help thinking that’s our season done. Just hope our off the field issues can be resolved and we can rebuild. Gutted ...

We might need a few repairs to our players which is a worry.

I was pleased with efforts which I thought were way better than previous games.

    Phew

A strange first half in that whereas in he previous 7 games we'd looked solid at the back but toothless up front, today we looked nervous and sloppy at the back, but dangerous up front. Davison and Bonne are raw BUT they both can run behind the defenders which makes such a difference

In the second half we were far worse up front, just hoofing it up front, with Aneke giving away endless free kicks. But it eventually worked! Great flick on and a smart finish

Overall a much better performance. Great to see the Wigan players look so dejected and Paul Cook furious, with the 12 point deduction they're still well in it, and face Fulham on Wednesday  - if Fulham win today, they'll still have a chance of automatic promotion thanks to West Brom and Brentford losing, come on Scotty!

Be quite happy if Hull win today. Expect Cardiff to beat them Wednesday so we’d be safe even with a loss at Leeds.

About time we scored in injury time instead of conceding. All eyes on events at Hull starting soon. If we do stay up its likely going to be down to a third party's misfortune rather than our own achievement.

However, an unlikely win at Leeds and we're safe.

After Birmingham I thought we were done for, but now we have a chance.
A draw will likely suffice, they'll be at least 3 teams 2 points behind us going into the game with vastly inferior goal difference.

Constantly updating the match thread in the old teletext style to follow the score and then seeing an injury time equaliser is a thing of joy after we have thrown it away so much in injury time ourselves.

We need a winner today between Luton and Hull - the loser cannot go above us. If it's a draw then both could still go above us.
Barnsley will not win both their last two games (Forest and Brentford).
As long as Fulham do not lose against Wigan then we are safe, irrespective of the result against Leeds.

That equaliser has saved our season.
But a draw means we only need a point at Leeds. if one wins we may need 3 points.

That goal may just keep us up, especially if Fulham win today they'll have an outside chance of automatic promotion against Wigan. It was the least we deserved

I loved the reaction straight after the equaliser where we just wanted the third.

Bet no one could beat me for celebrating that goal!!

Started to go down on my knees, got cramp in the back of my leg, started hobbling about screaming YES, YES, ARGHH I'VE GOT CRAMP, YES!!!
You were lucky that Bowyer didn't hook you and put Pratley on.

For it to be in our own hands - yes.

But I would rather have Fulham not to lose to Wigan than us getting a point at Leeds.

So 11 Championship goals now for our non-League striker.

Since Taylor f*cked off, it's all been on Bonne's shoulders. We need to cut him some slack.

    Agree 100%
He will be a great  striker one day, he is young and he came from  Non league football.
some of the remarks towards him have not be justifiable.

So Barnsley (43) need to beat Forest and Brentford to catch us. Wigan (46) have to beat Fulham to catch us. If Hull (45) or Luton (45) lose today they can’t catch us. And that’s assuming we lose to Leeds and finish on 48. Even if Hull Luton is a draw (46) they would both have to win their final games to catch us. Hull at Cardiff and Luton home to Blackburn.

Look the good news is, that our final game is only away to Champions Leeds.

Imagine if it we had to play Millwall ..........

If one team wins, one team can't overtake us and one is in a good position to

If Luton and Hull draw theoretically both could go ahead of us if they both win on Wednesday. Hull away to Cardiff seems unlikely, Luton at home to Blackburn seems more possible

  • Hull off to a good start against Luton. Interesting!

I want Hull to win - much less likely than Luton to win their last game.

Somehow we live to fight another day. No one can question the commitment and effort of the players. If we don’t get out of this it won’t be down a lack of trying. Quality maybe, particularly up top, but they’re definitely all tryers.

I honestly have no idea what Bowyer should do for team selection on Wednesday. A few players got whacks so his hand might be forced. We have to take our chances up there though. I asked for three more goals from Bonne after he scored at Brentford. He’s scored 2 so far, but realistically could’ve had 4. Took his goal well in the end though and it was no tap in so hopefully when he gets his chance at Leeds he’s feeling sharp, confident and shoots hard, true and without hesitation. Much as it’s crazy to find ourselves in this position, given where Bonne came from, I feel like he is going to be the key man.

    Bonne chance Macauley!

I will admit that I too have been hugely frustrated at some of Bonnes finishing but he is getting in those positions to score. He is our main man at the moment and I am right behind him for the last game.

Think I'd prefer a draw, so a point would be enough for us at Leeds.
