Do we have a sell on clause ? They have accepted a £15 million bid today.

Going to a rival Championship club
Would love to know what team can afford that as there cant be many0 -
Possibly something to do with why Cowley got sacked.4
-
I would be pleasantly surprised if we did.0

Good to see Steve Gallen starting the rebuilding early.
Welcome back Karlen.56 -
Mouthall has bid for him so we can get the sell-on fee.
Always thinking.

WOW £15mill, amazing how the value of players change when they leave us.21

I don't think it matters really. Whatever is in the club will be syphoned off and the club put into admin. I think the best we can hope for is to stay up on Wednesday so that the impending 12 point deduction happens whist we are still in the Championship. In a way, I'd rather there wasn't a sell on fee as I don't like to see parasites thriving.15

What did we/Roland get for him?0

Can’t wait to see what Golfie thinks :-))1

If we have got a sell on fee it might pay Rolands 1.5 mill staying up bonus.0

Reckon it's a team that just missed out on the playoffs, closer to home than Huddersfield is0

Doesn't surprise me though. The only thing in life that is guaranteed is death, taxes & ex-Charlton players being sold on for more than we got for them in the first place.2 -
True? .... joke or just somebody's wishful thinking? Wiki has been changed already!
Birmingham City[edit]
On 19 July 2020, Grant joined Birmingham City for £2,500,000, signing a contract until the summer of 2023. Karlan Grant has left the terriers shortley after the latest manager Danny Cowley had been sacked.

15 mil ? .Football has gone fucking mad . He’s not worth a tenth of that .1
-
Young English striker with goals in the Premier League. Of course he’s worth £15 million in today’s market - you can argue that the market is mad but the price is fair within that market as it currently exists.First comparison off the top of my head, Bournemouth paid £19 million for Solanke. And he’s sh*te.22

Hope we have no sell on fee, fuck our owners (whoever they are) and fuck him.2

Two seasons ago he was a teenager without as much first team exposure.Since then he’s scored goals against Arsenal, West Ham, others and he’s top five in the goalscoring charts in a poor team this season.Nowhere near a shit player in my book but you’re welcome to hold on to his sub appearances under Robinson where he was being played on the right wing.32

Some people might say Grants a sh*t player ...... but in my book, just the sort of striker we could do with, right now.

Have Birmingham got 15m? So Karlan finds the financial offer enough to compensate for playing in the "most likely to go into admin next year" mid table sloggers?0
-
Maybe Fulham to go up top with Mitrovic assuming they don't go up would be a good fit and they have daft money.1

Since turning 20 in September 2017 he has score 49 goals across all 4 divisions. That’s a fantastic record. And this idea that the Crawley loan made him is a bit of a fallacy as well. He scored 4 goals in 12 games for us leading up to his loan. He was already in decent form and would’ve been a lot more use than the various wastes of space we had to play up front for the rest of that season.24 -
In the current financial climate it can surely only be Leeds or Norwich, depending on which one you're technically classing as currently a championship side.
Can't see too many other Championship clubs having 15m to spend on a striker. Bournemouth or Villa obviously if they come down too.
Brentford perhaps as an outside bet, as he would fit the mould for their type of signing and they may be getting 20m+ for Benrahma. But surely they would wait to see what division they'll be in before bidding?2 -
It’s West Brom. My Huddersfield mate said they are selling to them to avoid going into administration0

The Duchatelet model seems to be to develop players and sell them on the cheap, or lose them for nothing, so other teams can make a lot of money from them. Then we all go and have a jolly good dance.15
