Bottle job signing for a bottle job team, seems appropriate20

It makes sense tbf, they'll pay him the money he wants and he'll fell they're close enough to the PL that he could be the difference in them going up next season.
I hope they fail miserably.0 -
Not sure Forest is the "big step up" he was hoping for. Decent Championship side but have flirted with relegation more recently than being on top 6 side.
Hope we draw them in the cup over the next couple of years as I'm sure he'll be reminded of how unprofessional he was.7 -

There was a squad salary from last season posted on Facebook earlier and if it was true can't blame him for leaving but will not forgive him0

Forest are a big club in fairness, but haven't seen success for decades. They're constantly throwing money at it, but with no end result. Lazy players with big bank balances, who don't give a shit. They bottled it last season too. Taylor has one contract left in him, but I'd be worried about a 30yr old bloke with 2 good seasons signing a big contract at say 25k per week if I was a fan. Especially as he's already prooved hes willing to down tools if it dont suit him.3

I hope he falls into the river Trent.0

They should be used to pricks like Taylor.4

20k a week may seem a lot but ultimately for a free transfer at a fairly big Championship club it's really not. It works out at just over £2m for a 2 year deal, that's hardly a huge outlay.

Passed medical and agreed finance0

Is he still playing international football for the pub team?3

Very rarely have ill feeling towards an ex-player but LT really can get fucked. Hope forest go down next year, another club that think they have a divine right to be in the prem.3
-
Done deal then by the looks of things. I can't lie I don't like Forest at all so it's rather fitting. Lived there for about 3 years and they have a very delusional/smug fan base on a level similar to Leeds. Uncle is a massive Derby fan as well so there's that. Delusional and arrogant player signs for a club with delusional and arrogant fans, rather fitting.6 -
His agent must be laughing getting him a 3 year deal
Don't think it's quite the move he imagined it to be and think he'll probably still be gutted he didn't get the move to Brentford in January but just glad we can all forget about him now0 -
Taylor and Forest is a good fit and I think he will do well there. The pressure at somewhere like West Brom might have been too much.
It will be in 10-15 years time where he will perhaps look back and truly realise the errors he has made.
Yes, he deserved a good contract based on his performances over the last 2 years at Charlton, but to go about it in such a way has for me made a lot of the great non football stuff he'd done previously look fraudulent.
To go to nursing homes to see a dying fan is admirable behaviour, but it now makes you wonder how much that was actually genuine or just for show.
Such a shame really and I guess he is still relatively young and will make mistakes like this, especially this year, which has been completely weird for everyone.

Don't think he'll enjoy playing second fiddle to Grabben.
Look forward to season after next when we're back in the Championship and our dominant centre half (Naby back??) sorts him out.0 - Sponsored links:

Unless he has an appearance bonus in his new life changing contract I doubt he'll even care.

big contract no doubt as in salary and maybe a signing on fee - be interesting to know if he was told to not play for us for rest if season, If it is forest there fans I’ve met are cocks obsessed with kicking off with derby at England away games and have a Sheffield Wednesday attitude of divine right, decent away day though chicken and tits1

I know im on this thread but fuck Lyle Taylor.
What this club is going through is more important than any one man. Couldn't honestly give a shit if he ended up in Madrid or Harrogate.
He chose money over legacy and im sure Forest wasn't in his sights initially.12 -
Hope the terms are not as good as the Brentford offer in Aug or Jan. I wish him no luck whatsoever.3
-
Good match,a player who bottled it joins a club who bottled it.5
-
Great news... he’s a piece if shit ... I can’t wait for the new shirts to go on sale so I can get a new one...

Never felt so let down by a player since Scott Parker. Feel this is far worse though.4
-
Pressures on Lyle, don't f*** it up and bottle it, they're gonna want their moneys worth, so all eyes will be firmly on you ol son0
-
Hope he fails to score a goal, ideally a penalty miss against Derby after his 5 minute walk up.
I suspect he thought he'd under up somewhere better than Forest.8 -
Must have been that goal he scored against them that made them want to sign him. I expect to see big Nabbs rock up there next.....😄1
