    After somebody has run 50 yards, I always find it a bit hard to criticise a player. Usually those who couldn't run that distance in 3 minutes do so.

    Wouldn't say that was a criticism, just disappointment. It was a shame because it would've been an early goal of the season candidate if he'd managed a finish. If he can add that to his game then he'll really be in demand.

    I'm a big fan of Doughty. Think he is an exciting player. Not chastising him. If he can improve that part of his game he will be some player. Hope we can hold on to him.

    And that's why the likes of Celtic should look elsewhere, and let him continue his education with us for the next few years after signing a long contract...

    To all those reading this from other clubs, read the above post. 

    Doughty isn't worth the punt yet. Give it a couple of years, maybe 10. He'll be in his prime.
