I can see clearly now the rain is gone
I can see all obstacles in my way
Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind
It's gonna be a bright (bright)
Bright (bright) sunshiny day
It's gonna be a bright (bright)
Bright (bright) sunshiny day
I can see all obstacles in my way
Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind
It's gonna be a bright (bright)
Bright (bright) sunshiny day
It's gonna be a bright (bright)
Bright (bright) sunshiny day
I think I can make it now the pain is gone
All of the bad feelings have disappeared
Here is that rainbow I've been praying for
It's gonna be a bright (bright)
Bright (bright) sunshiny day
All of the bad feelings have disappeared
Here is that rainbow I've been praying for
It's gonna be a bright (bright)
Bright (bright) sunshiny day
Look all around, there's nothing but blue skies
Look straight ahead, there's nothing but blue skies
RIP
Look straight ahead, there's nothing but blue skies

RIP beautiful voice. Remember a story about him and Bob Marley playing a gig at a London school early in their careers. Imagine being at that!1

Terrible loss.
A musical genius. Not just a singer and songwriter, but what a singer and songwriter.

RIP sir, another talented musician leaves us, God bless you.0

I Can See Clearly Now and There Are More Questions Than Answers are truly classic songs and he had a delightful clear and warm voice. His 'Greatest Hits' is one of my most played albums. Interesting that an artist known for reggae should have actually been a Texan.2

It's weird cause I like a saxaphone & the Psychedelic Furs who i used to really like had a sax as well, but just think this one spoilt what I thought was a very good version. Oh well not to worry haha2 -

That voice could transcend any genre.
Bought Hold me Tight and You Got Soul from the Twisted Wheel record shop in Plumstead High Street in a previous lifetime.
Might need to check out that greatest hits you mention.

It was a great long version.
I still love the original though.

There's some pictures and recollections of it on the recent Bob Marley documentary. Pretty sure it's still on the iPlayer.2
