Never knew this existed but just found Bowie's Live Santa Monica '72 album on Spotify, great live album.
Sounds like no overdubs have been added so gives a good representation of what it would have been like to be there.0 -

What a great look and frontman Ian Anderson was/is.
Thanks for the reminder @Six-a-bag-of-nuts
Two versions of the same song, hadn't seen the first vid before and couldn't decide which to post.

Yeh, they made that first video for the Slipstream DVD which came out in about 1980.sillav nitram said:What a great look and frontman Ian Anderson was/is.

Included a number of new videos for various old songs
It is now available as a CD-R as part of the remastered 'A' album package.
I had Tull on my mind because I was due to see them last week on their retro "Prog Years" tour, but of course Covid has put paid to that.
Tickets are apparently valid for revised date next May - a tad optimistic I think!1 -

I saw them at the Barbican when they performed the ‘Thick as a Brick’ album and then again at Shepherds Bush Empire. Brilliant at both gigs.

They were due to play at the Lighthouse Theatre in Poole last Saturday.
Wow, would love to have been at those TAAB shows you saw.0 -
Decided to mellow down with some British Folk Rock.
I'm not a massive Steeleye Span fan, but I love this one

I've just spent the last few days going through the entire Beatles catalogue on Spotify and what a pleasure it was.
While their later albums may have been more accomplished their early stuff was just so joyous to listen too, pure pop and FAB, just like they were.
The only thing I've wondered about is why they had a need, certainly in their later output, to record songs so un Beatle like songs, 'Maxwell's Silver Hammer' springs to mind as does 'An Octopuses Garden'?
Wikipedia gives an explanation but doesn't completely define why they were included if the majority were against it. In regards to 'Maxwell' Lennon describes as Paul's granny music, he does have a point, even if it was/is relevant to Paul, the rest of the band hated it but it was still included on the album!

Nick Mason's saucer full of secrets, I was ready to hate this being a big PF for a long time, but it's rather good despite the lack of original members these days.1
