He could certainly do a job for a lot of League two and even some League One clubs.2

Charlton have made a six-figure bid for Boreham Wood winger Sorba Thomas. 21-year-old seen as one of the hottest properties in non-league. He came through West Ham’s academy, and has also been tracked by QPR and Barnsley #cafc34

1.85m = 6ft so passes the CL height test for a winger0 -

FWIW I don't rate Albie all that highly at all, he flatters to deceive IMO and doesn't seem to be tenacious and hardworking enough to be a midfielder or dynamic and skillful enough to be a number 10. I know a few on here will disagree but I reckon if he was good enough he'd be playing every week instead of us getting other youngsters in on loan all the time16

Getting Sorba Thomas really would be the (lemon) icing on the cake.11

RE: Sorba Thomas, seems he got left out the Boreham Wood squad on Tuesday so bet they're fully prepared for his departure this week
Just depends on whether a club matches their valuation rather than stopping him from leaving full stop1 -

I used to think Bowyer was just being harsh to give Morgan a kick up the arse & try to get the best out of him.
I now think Bowyer just doesn't rate him.2 -
I also quite like Albie but I agree with Bowyer, as a midfielder he needs to do his fair share of defensive work. I have watched him since he was a sixteen year old and he hasn't changed. Great range of passing, powerful shot and that is it. He should be learning from one of the best midfielders we have produced, Lee Bowyer.19

Does anyone knwo much about him or seen him much?
Is he a winger with pace? We know LB likes to convert wingers with pace as forwards. Could this be the case with Thomas?0 -

But considering who he's got in front of him there its not going to happen1 - Sponsored links:

Gutted for Albie his motivation to go non league is probably minimal. But it’ll be better for him than only making a handful of appearances for us. I’m a fan that’s for sure I think there’s a real quality player in there.3

The highest transfer fee under ESI was for Southall's flat!7 -
So, who has a mate that supports Boreham Wood?13
-
I’m sure he’s a player with potential, but 5 goals in 75 at National League level is poor0

He want to go to Huddersfield but they didn't put a firm offer in.
Gotts was primarily a right-back but was converted by Marcelo Bielsa to play as a central midfielder. Bielsa described that he had never seen a player as "dynamic" as Gotts in his career, saying that "he’s a number eight, a midfielder. He is not offensive and not defensive. He's a number eight."[6]
Something that puzzles me, is when did players started being referred to as their number, other than number 9s? Since when did a number 8 become a position on the pitch?
As many of us will recall, before squad numbers, shirt number 9 was the 'true' centre-forward role and traditionally played as the spearhead of the front line.
What the Hungarians did, and quickly copied by Man City, was to drop the CF into deeper and wider positions, where he was more difficult to track and mark, dragging defenders out of position. The space created was then exploited by the 'inside forwards' to run late into scoring positions.

Seems to be predominantly a left winger, comfortable on the ball with good end product. Only 21 too.5 -

All the players we seem to have produced recently (especially midfielders) seem have an outstanding asset, and massive weeknesses, I see this reflected in the England set up as well. Is it talent identification that's changed or academy coaching?1 -
