    My goalie ;_;

Great servant, he hopefully leaves with all our well-wishes. A finer shot-stopper we've not had in a long while
  • Sorry to see him leave and wish him well with his new club.

It needed to happen. I'm glad it has, though sad to lose him. But he's too good for L1, let alone to not be in the frame at a L1 side. This is the consequence of relegation, you lose some of your best players. We lost Bonne only because we felt the fee was right (if the 2m is true I would have bitten their hand off), and hopefully we got a good bit of money in for Dill as well.

We're a club that needs to sell players to break even, and with this and the Bonne sale, hopefully we're that much closer. Think the incoming signings are good at this level.

Best of luck Dillon, and thank you for all the fantastic saves.
  • We should all appreciate the loyalty also shown by Dillon this club, he has come through the grass roots of football and an academy which this club should be very proud.  We should always remember he is human and we have to put the agent to one side.

He deserves this move more than most who walked away from the club. So when he appears at the valley on another day we should give him the welcome he fully deserves!

I certainly for one and like many other sincerely wish him well for the future and you never know I may do as what POP has done in his career and we hope Cardiff look after him as I believe he will have the chance as did Neil Etheridge did when he played for Charlton.

Good Luck Dillo you served us well!!!

    Sorry to see him go.

I hope he will be the last player we actually want to keep to leave now Thomas has brought stability hopefully.

Good luck Dillon I enjoyed watching you.

Anyone got an idea on the fee?

  • Will probably become an International  goalkeeper like previous ones of ours that have left to seek pastures new. Pope & Randolph spring to mind.
Oh, I didn’t realise he could qualify to play for someone other than England? Does he have Welsh roots?
If Cascarino can play for Ireland, with a name like Phillips, I'm sure they can find some somewhere.
Same surname as my wife, but she was born and bred in the Principality.

Sorry to see Dillon go. Wish he had signed contract and helped to the Championship next season. Then he would be No1 as opposed to No2 and warming the bench at Cardiff. Still, he was a good servant to Charlton and I wish him all the best for the future.

Really disappointed with this, thought Dillion was going to be our number 1 for years.

How good is AMB? Is he next to step up?

Sad to see him go. Perhaps inevitable after we went down.

He'll carry on being a very good keeper despite the sour grapes from a few fans.

    Only wish him well

    Thanks for everything Dills

Shame. Had a couple of great seasons for us. A Charlton boy too. Hopefully the money from bonne, dillon and grant will steady us financially and we can crack on. Good luck to him.

  • Sad to see him go. Will be painful watching the Championship highlights on Quest, as so many of last season's team are still there

Dillon, Lockyer, Sarr, Bonne, Taylor plus the likes of Bauer, Dijksteel and Fosu who left in the summer

Now that he's gone it feels a shame to lose an academy product, but he wanted to be at a Championship team so it's for the best. I'm glad Bowyer did what he did because it means the keeper who we'll be using all season has started it, that makes sense. I feel a bit bad for Dillon in a way; he's a victim of some bad timing. I think he'll find it hard to unseat Smithies and it's unfortunate that there just weren't a lot of Championship teams in the market for a new number one. I hope he does well

I mentioned this before, remember when voting for your POTY vote for someone you do not want to play for us the next season  :)

Good luck to him. Hope he can make his way in to the first team.
  • Lovely bloke , decent enough keeper but as with Elliot I think he's overrated by our fans,  unlike Pope and Randolph who our fans underrated.

I think where we want to be going he would only be good enough for the first part of the journey .... and I don't wanna stop half way
