Amos: 7.5 - not over-extended tonight but sound handling and a very reassuring presence
Gunter: 7.5 - very solid and showed all his experience. Very impressive for someone who had no real pre-season, other than some training with Wales
Inniss: 6 - solid in the first half but a silly and a completely unnecessary foul on the goalie, followed by an incautious challenge for the second yellow a few minutes later - particularly with this referee in charge. Hopefully Ryan will learn from it. We'll miss him against Jackett's aerial bombardment
Famewo: 8 - very classy. There must be a real risk of Norwich recalling him in January if he keeps up this level of performance
Maatsen: 7.5 - a really exciting player. Looks like he could do a more offensive job for us further forward on the left if necessary in Alfie's absence
Pratley: 7 - a good, dogged display
Watson: 6 - did ok. Can knit things together but looks just slightly off the pace at times. The lack of a pre-season can't have helped (thanks again to that blasted embargo)
Shinnie: 8.5: MoM - his two moments of quality were ultimately the difference
Washington: 7 - he can disappear from games for periods but he took his goal well and put in a good shift
Bogle: 6.5 - worked hard and did ok, especially for someone who's had no pre-season and, prior to going us a fortnight ago, no football since March
Smyth: 7.5 - an impressive and industrious performance
Referee: 4 - an irritating, card happy pedant, who was determined to stop the game at every opportunity.
