It will be a tough game. They will be confident. As will we, and as were Pompey. I think we will come through it though.

Fleetwood's form isn't that inferior to ours. Three consecutive wins.

Being away, they will be very happy with the draw and we will have to break them down.

This will be the turgid stalemate I predicted on Saturday which is fine unless you've paid a tenner to be hunched over your laptop in the dark, making random noises of encouragement, while your Mrs completes the divorce documentation in the other room.

I totally got carried away after Pompey away... I reckon a 1-1 and the unbeaten run continues

Getting out of the league is the priority, therefore I expect us to go for the win here.

I'm hoping we can line up as shown and will pinch a 1-0 victory.

Exactly the side I would put out. Do not rotate more than you need to for this league game, do the rotation for the cup tie come the weekend.

I think 3-1 to us, regardless of their good form, I think Bogle will break his duck, Aneke will add to his tally and Shinnie will also chip in.

I would actually rather a 4-3 regardless of what that would do to goals against column (as currently best in the league) to help prove to the lads that they have lots of goals in them...(still a bit of a question mark).

It feels more than comforting to have Matthews back as Gunter is a good CB option at this level where you will not be meeting too many star strikers.

How comes our, and their, 35 year olds can go Saturday-Tuesday-Saturday and yet our 27 year olds can't.

    Bloody snow flake millinials!!

I am a bit disappointed to see no one getting a load of stick on this thread as its normally a good pointer on who to back for 1st goal scorer.  Messrs Pratley, JFC and Williams having already done so. Maybe I'll have to wait until the match thread starts.

Anyway 3 zip to the addicks Bogle, Washington and a penalty (no idea who would take it).  Then get the cigars out.

No changes from Saturday .. another quite talented and tough outfit comes to the valley but nowadays we are used to it and can handle it .. beware of my man Madden  :)  ..
Fleetwood like so may teams this season are inconsistent .. since the takeover and influx of good new players we are (at last) a model of consistency

  • When you get the streaming voucher for this, why is there an additional fee of £1.50 as I don't recall paying that previously?

Forgot Watson was back, can he play LCB?
I would imagine that Matthews will not be risked, because of lack of training, so Pratley at CB with Inness, Gunter RB and Watson DM. I know I am normally wrong, so you may be right :)

Are we likely to see Maatsen if he took a bit of a battering on Saturday? Reckon he might sit this one out and Purrington come in

I'd bring Aneke in, fitness permitting. He made 38 league appearances for MK Dons the season before joining us so maybe he isn't made of glass.

    Matthews. Gunter, Inniss, Purrington
    Smyth, Watson, Shinnie, Maatsen
    Aneke, Washington

AMB, Barker, Pratley, JFC, Morgan, Williams, Bogle

That's how I'd like to see us play. Pratley and Bogle could do with a rest. Not sure on JFC or Williams, maybe play one of them if Maatsen could do with a break too.

We can't rest Pratley as he will be needed at centre half. He can have a rest after tomorrow.
  • Purrington can play LCB. So could be an option.

In the "20" or however many they set aside for a game anyway!

It's like a game of Reversi, where someone puts red blobs at the top and bottom and converts all the green blobs to red!

@SandgaardThomas has sent our medical team 10 of his @ZynexMedical Nexwave units. The units are being used on players to accelerate the recovery process, reduce pain, facilitate healing and stimulate muscle. Thanks, boss!

Any chance Barton had a couple of drinks before the interview?
