    Senior mods generally prefer not to have too much stuff Members Only if it can be avoided. If you want to discuss things less openly then the Shenanigans thread is a better bet, although as membership is now open again we can't guarantee complete confidentiality

    Understood Ali, maybe this thread would have been  better on the Shenanigans thread
    to start with, as it seems to incorporate and follow a similar line.
    Anyway, just an idea, and understand Mods thinking cheers.

    Given the history the Times has with serious investigative journalism it's pretty sad this is the level they have now reached.
    I suspect ‘Adolf Hitler’s diaries’ probably sets the bar fairly low
