Top quality striker, shame about the baggage.
I agree he is a decent striker at this level but because he has more baggage than Joan Collins it's a NO from me.0 -

Not something that should be keeping anybody awake, apart from perhaps the appalling scum bag himself.
Gives him more time to dwell on his absence of value.
He might even find a grain of humanity in that fetid carcass and take himself for a very long walk off Morecambe Bay at low tide with a strong offshore breeze.
At least there could be some positive outcome from his worthless existence when the cold blooded denizens of the deep get a feed.2 -
He has more class than that mate, cigars!addick1956 said:

“Hi mate, not totally sure. My source in the club says it’s nothing massive but a series of fallouts. Guess he perhaps questions his authority and Barton won’t have that”3 -

Sign him up2
-
Given all the court cases Evans has had to deal with, you'd think he'd want to get his head down and just stick to football.4
-
Short term 6 month deal until the end of the season?
This forum would go into meltdown if we signed him.7 -

I can't believe anyone would want him to sign
Whether what he did was legally 'rape' I can't defend his behaviour which led to the Court case and I would be surprised if Thomas would want such a character to play for us.
How would our player liason contact Tracey Leaburn feel about us signing someone who had displayed such a disrespectful attitude towards a woman?17 -

Wasn’t he eventually proven not guilty after providing the court with new evidence? In fact I think he was paid quite a substantial sum in damages by his initial lawyers.
BTW that’s no me defending him or suggesting we sign him!3 -
Natasha Massey? Is she still with him. If so, I don't think his bank balance would have much to do with it. Her Dad's a multi-millionaire businessman who also was stayed on-side with Evans I seem to recall.Todds_right_hook said:

I could never understand her Dad supporting Ched in this way. Who on earth wants his daughter to stick with a bloke that would knob some other girl (rape or not) just after his mate had. I'm certain my Dad would have taken a very different view.

It was really weird, whether he thought Ched Evans would do well enough financially to take her off his hands, as it were, I've no idea.Arsenetatters said:cafcfan said:
