Watford have appointed Xisco Munoz as their new head coach after the sacking of Vladimir Ivic.
The Spaniard joins the Championship club from Georgian top-flight side Dinamo Tbilisi.
Bet their fans are delighted with him0 -

Indeed we're just missing C, Q, and X (Chris Powell was too soon but I'm including caretakers Damian Matthew, Ben Roberts and Kevin Nugent)

Ian Holloway has quit @ Grimsby
Seems they've got a takeover going on up there so guess he's walked knowing they'll want their own man0 -
Wouldn't bother with the stress of management any more if I was Holloway.
I'm sure he could make more on Soccer Saturday or whatever than in League Two and it's a lot easier.2 -
If Grimsby are taken over let's hope their new mega rich owners don't offer £££££ for their prolific former striker Omar Bogle.

So has Farnell & El Kashashy pulled out of the Burnley race to take over at Grimsby?2

Next question .. who in their right mind wants to buy a struggling club, near the bottom of the bottom division, with no income from fans who can't get into a ground which is falling down bit by bit ? .. answers on the back of a postage stamp please.1 -

Let’s dissect what you’ve said a bit to make it a bit more realistic. He is our joint third top scorer with williams, foster-caskey and if you include cups, Morgan. All have 2 goals! I’m sure you can see that your comment is starting to look less impressive now.
The other three are midfielders, bogle is a centre forward. I would be interested to see the stats on all 4 for goals per minute. I imagine Forster caskey and Williams both have played less minutes for those goals.
a centre forward scoring 2 goals doesn’t make him one of our better players, it means we are either spreading our scorers around, or not scoring enough. If he had a brain and composure, he would be our second or third top scorer on his own, not joint with midfielders.
I think he has been taken off after 35 mins once and at half time once. The remaining times he has been substituted in the second half. He averages more than 45 mins per game.1 -

Mauricio Pochettino is leading the race to become the new PSG manager after Tuchel sack! 🇦🇷🔴🔵His lawyers have been contacted by Leonardo earlier this week and he’s open to accept - Thiago Motta, always been the other option in the list. 🇫🇷 #PSG #Tuchel #Pochettino1

Pochettino would be a decent appointment.
Good manager, ex-PSG player and most of PSG's squad speak Spanish.0 -

A real blast from the past!Former Tottenham boss Christian Gross has been appointed as Schalke's fourth coach of a miserable season so far.The 66-year-old, who left Saudi Arabia's Al-Ahli in February, arrived at Tottenham in November 1997 but lasted less than 10 months.Schalke, bottom of the German Bundesliga after 13 games, have already been managed by David Wagner, Manuel Baum and Huub Stevens this season.0 -
was Wagner the guy that Huddersfield promoted?0

Wagner and Gross really feel like managers from completely different eras0

I've cheered myself up by reading the 'Woy's Out' thread on palarses 'Holmesdale End' thread. Poor old buffer is getting quite a lot of stick. Quite a few Nigels fancy Eddie Howe as his replacement.0

Jake Buxton will be leaving Burton after yet another defeat today. I bet he wishes they could play Charlton every game...2
