If we can dominate possession, it could be great. If the midfield, which lets face it looks soft, don't get on top it could be nasty. Aneke needs to hold the ball up well and Smyth, Millar and Williams need to play close to him. JFC and Gilbey are going to have to work their nuts off and be positive with their passing.It looks better than a number of recent starting XIs though.1

Who knows. I like the idea of Chuks and Jonny from the start but they also rarely deliver from that position. Hopefully today they will. Rochdale have lots of goals in them, they just also like to concede. Our lack of proper defensive shield is going to hurt us so we’ll need Gilbey to get amongst the muck alongside JFC which he hasn’t really been known for so far. Hopefully we can get at them quickly with pace and power in that front three and break them down. Three strikers on the bench as well just in case we really want to see how weird formations can get2
