The graphs with the two squiggly lines? Each line represents a team and across the bottom of the graph is the match minutes, the line of each team will move up with each shot that either team has. The better the chance, the more the line moves up. It keeps moving up with every shot taken to give a cumulative idea of how many goals a team should have scored by the end of the match. If you look at the top it’ll give a team’s xG score (for example 1.77) and if you’re looking at one of these graphs you can cross check that number against where the squiggly line ends on the right hand side.KiwiValley said:

Of course you can, even I have, so has Lee. What I am saying is he surely deserves credit for rectifying his mistakes and salvaging a draw when we were 3-1 down. You could tell we had a bit about us tonight.addick1956 said:

I'll start by saying Bowyer got it wrong with starting Smyth at RWB, but he will know that better than anyone. Once we went to basics we looked a lot better and played some great football imo, JFC who I usually accuse of being average was making things really tick, like a charity shop Toni Kroos. Personally I am happy with the result as it's shut down a few comments on here. Clearly the dressing room is not lost, there is fight in this team, now you can say 'The players don't wanna lose!' but that's nonsense as some of you are willing to blame Lee for his tactics, he also needs credit where it's due, he has the respect of these players. We also showed we can play attractive football with the right players on the pitch, it's just our defense that is absolutely shoddy atm.
Finally I'll wrap it up with this & I'm not bothered how it comes across, to anyone messaging Sandgaard on twitter or any other social media platform trying to push Lee out, you are pathetic and I am embarrassed to be associated with you by the team I support.

I'm sorry Pearce but your comment about something to build on is the thing somebody day s when they know it's not good enough again. I think it's great to score four goals. What is unacceptable is shipping four by half time. Rochdale aren't a European super power. They aren't even a mid table Championship side, they aren't even a mid table League One side. They are relegation fodder, with a league form as dreadful as ours. The depths our clubs expectations and standards have sunk to is so far from success we celebrate a draw at home to Rochdale. Nope I'm not having that Pearce. My glass is considably emptier as each game passes. Something is really wrong when fans are happy that a player gets sent off to keep them out of the side. The whole is definably less than the sum of its parts. A clear out is needed. Not sure who, thankfully that is not my decision.
I'm so pissed off to feel that a draw against Rochdale is a good result and I actually do feel that it's a good result under the circumstances. But that is the point. Our club is in a rebuilding stage and it feels that it will get worse before it gets better, it's darkest before dawn blah de blah.

If you would care to read what I wrote I simply said that although we might have scored more goals than anyone else we have played more games than virtually all the other teams.....certainly in the top 8. Only lincoln have played the same number of games as us. Some teams have 2 or 3 games in hand over us. Will be a different picture by then.
But I am pleased we scored 4. Cracking game & better than a dull 0-0.

Watching that second half was great. It is still very difficult to see what our best team would be if everyone was fit. I would probably go with this line up. We will then also have options on the bench to bring on as required. I think that is probably a promotion team but we are unlikely to see it due to injuries which is a shame. The four players missing from that team below would make a huge difference and if we can get that team out or one very similar I can see a play off place for sure. We just need to come up with a settled line up which I am hoping after today Lee has a much better idea of what it is. All is not lost yet!!!

Interesting but I'm not sure how you actually "rate" a chance where the player doesn't actually reach the ball, as with such chances if you touch them it's 99.9% going to go in, but if you don't it's a 0.1% chance of going in. Maybe 0.5 is rightCallumcafc said:

It was Gunter on the left side of the back three. Oshilaja was central and, as far as I could see, played really well. Terrible defending by Gilbey. One of the first things you learn when you are defending is to continuously look over your shoulder to see who is behind you. It should be second nature. He should have seen the player in acres of space & gone to mark him or at least close him down. You wouldn't see that in a pub team on a sunday......and I should know as I played for a few !!mendonca said:

Playing a right back at left back when the left back was played on the right wing (and another left back was on the bench).....then outdoing that by playing a striker cum winger as a wing back when a right back was again on the bench. I agree about Deji, I thought he did ok, but there were a couple of times early on where he was too high up the pitch on the left hand side. I’ve watched some of it back again in case I was going mad but I'm not, Gunter was on in the right, Pearce central and Deji left. Once we changed it at half time he looked much more comfortable as did all of the players.foresthillred said:

The day I yank myself around the front room after a 4-4 with a team as piss poor as Rochdale is the day we know we are as shit a team as we have been in my 44 years of watching Charlton . Well tonight that day arrived .
What a pathetic place we are in and fuck being reasonable or whatever I can’t have any of that bollox while palace are constantly laughing at how shit we are from two divisions above and have been for eons and even millwall fucking pity us .
Rochdale hit miracle finish after miracle finish as the red c’s departed on each foray forward from the team who were in the relegation zone , yet all the time they looked sooooo shit I thought we were always in it and ended up disappointed with a draw.

We are having a mare with injuries but I genuinely don’t believe we are as shit as this 11 game run is .

We gave 25 games left. If we can get Famewo & Innis back by start of Feb then with 20 games to go we could mount a bit of a charge. 7 of our last 8 games are against teams currently in the top 10 and are therefore the proverbial 6-pointer. Win all of them & we might just sneak into the play offs.1
