Happy with that. We've not looked great going forward and I doubt many neutrals would stay for the second half, but we've worked hard and they've not threatened much.
Bogle's cross/shot was asking to be tapped in and Smyth has been a little frustrating in the final third, but the latter particularly doing a shift for the team. Soft pen (unless anybody has seen the snipper anywhere?) but stupid from the defender. Not the best pen either but it hit the net and that's all that matters.
Deji been outstanding again, although again a team performance I would say.1 -

Have got the Peterborough commentary on my stream & they are really annoying me - calling us “cynical”, “apples don’t fall far from the tree where Lee Bowyer is concerned” & JFC “head butted” player for his yellow card. Idiots 🤦🏻♀️1 -

The state of this pitch is helping us - its stopping Peterboro playing their football.
Was dubious about Pearce playing but fair dues, this is his sort of game and he's playing well. As is Oshilaja - another great performance so far.
Fair play to Smyth as well. He's playing in his proper position and doing well.
Will be a miracle if Pratley doesn't get booked. In fact, I fear he will get sent off!

Starting to feel like a Bowyer team on the pitch after weeks when it seemed he was channeling the undead spirit of Karen Fraeye. Lots of time left for this to change though - please Bows, don't take all the strikers off and go ultra defensive!!0

Good effort from every player....pitch is atrocious and not good for football. We need to have even more effort in this second half as they wont be happy at being behind. Good 45 mins done, we now need a GREAT 45 mins!!0

Working really hard. Thought Posh started with a lot of niggly fouls, and we have matched it. They are dangerous up front, I think we will need two goals to win it. Bogle doing well again.0

Nobody hiding, nobody shirking tackles and lots of work rate.
Credit where its due the changes were needed with this pitch.
I can see Williams thinking fk that boss. Aneke not wanting an injury on a shit pitch.

Terrible pitch & how no-one has been booked is a mystery. Think we need another goal to get something out of this game as I'm sure they will be better in the 2nd half.
