I thought Bogle has looked a bit more mobile this half.

Stone Roses being played at the game. I’m taking this as a sign for 3 points for us!
This is the win I've waited for.

Pleased with that first half. Not a great deal of quality but that’s understandable with the state of the pitch. Thing that’s impressed me is the closing down and they’ve quite often had to go backwards. A few big lumps in their team so we have to be wary of set pieces and I’m worried about the goalmouth that we’re defending this half but if we can create a couple of chances, we’re in with a shout of winning ... C’MON YOU ADDICKS

Pratley will be getting booked in the second half, of that I have no doubt. The problem we have is JFC has now been booked and I'm not sure we have the players on the bench to replace both.
    Gilbey and Shinnie?... Gulp!!
    Hardly equal replacements...

But yeah at least they're centre mids.
To be fair Id only want to see Shinnie - Was more impressed with Gilbey on Saturday but still dont trust him enough as yet

Bogles having a good game. Tbf I think most are but think Millar needs some end product when he goes on these runs.
Deji for me is our best player so far.
    Keep it up!!!
  • Good performance so far in terrible conditions.  Bit lucky to be in front but a committed performance from all the lads. Even Bogle has been decent so far. Need another goal or two though. Let’s get Aneke and Schwartz on to finish them off second half.

I was watching Gilbey's POY highlights the other day. He looked a brilliant player. We have seen none of that so far, but it does seem like he's being asked to play deeper than he was at MK.

Keep going lads. This is the type of performance fans can get behind. We know the players and pitches at league One level aren't gonna blow us away but hard work and fight when its needed will never go unnoticed.

The commentators on Radio Cambridgeshire are making ne laugh, its hilarious.

At one point about halfway through they moaned about how many fouls charlton had committed then a few seconds later the stats come up for fouls and they were level 🤣🤣

During halftime they just said the referee just needs to book anyone it doesn't matter who it is for persistent fouling
  • No half time subs, that's always a good sign

Makes a change for it not being Pearce doing the fouling!

He must know that if he's not subbed at half time he will be pulled around 60mins.
Not easy for a striker trying to impress and when your struggling, so I do feel for him.
But effort is there so I will trust LB. Bogle needs to do a little bit more for me, not easy tonight I know.

Millar combines nicely with Maatsen but his cross goes out (deflection? apparently not)

As the kids say 'cry more'
  • Maatsen really needs to work on his crossing, it’s a major weakness in his game at the moment

PB clearance comes to Washington, and there's a bit of a melee with him, Smyth, Gunter and a load of players near the right touchline.

Purely because Bowyer is our manager. No other reason.

I don't know how he hasn't booked Pearce for that.

    All from an awful throw-in.

Dembele coming through blocked near the centre circle by Pearce, and the ref gives a free kick
