Amos: 9 some brilliant saves to keep us in it. Have been vocal about his poor distribution & so pleased to see that we seem to have ditched the constant playing out from the back. It’s working better for Ben.
Matthews: 7.5 solid display & one cracking tackle in the box where he spotted the danger & flew across to get a block in.
Innis: 8.5 showed just what we’ve been missing from attacking set-pieces as well as defence.
Pearce: 8 has really upped his game since getting back in the team. Great skipper.
Purrington: 7.5 more defensively minded than Maatsen. Just feels more solid there.
F-C: 8 maybe not as commanding a presence today, but that’s to be expected against a form team & he did what he’s been doing all season, making us tick.
Pratley: 7.5 the destroyer! 😈
Gilbey: 7.5 still not convinced, but got into the right place for the goal.
Maatsen: 7 forced back a bit today after last week. Did well, lucky not to be booked for the bit of dissent.
Stockley: 9 Browny was right on commentary. He dominated the whole of the Sunderland back 3.
Jaiyesimi: 8.5 starting to settle & show why he was Swindon’s best player. Big player for these last games.
Millar: 7 a few really good runs down the left. Couple of times he could have made better passes, but he’s always a positive force.
Referee: 7.5 decent game, let a lot go that others would have got cards out for. That’s not a bad thing.

F-C: 7 - Lots of effort and closing down and great corners. Not much creation today.
Pratley: 6.5 - One bad sloppy moment but hustled all game. He is a spoiler but creative play non existent. Need a player like him.
Gilbey: 7.5 - Lots of effort and some lovely runs off the ball and scored a goal
Maatsen: 6.5 - Worked hard all over the pitch but didn't create anything. Hope the knock isn't too bad.
Stockley: 8 - Excellent hold up play, won 90% of his headers but should have scored. Knackered at the end
Jaiyesimi: 5 - Floats in and out of the game, some poor passing and doesn't track his runners
Millar: 6 - Frustrating player, couple of great runs but some bad decisions when on the ball. Done the right thing to keep ball at the end
Referee: 6 - Dodgy hairstyle, seemed to give them some soft freekicks but not too bad
