    Imo, this was idiots who have made fortunes on dodge thinking it is free money and over leveraging. Whales have seen this and smashed it down, liquidating them all... Topped up this morning, I think we bounce back relatively quickly, up 3.3% in about an hour

    Yep and overleveraging for the coinbase IPO as well. Second half of the month is always a bit volatile as well.

    I’ve not once leveraged.  I just think it’s a whole different ball game and well outside my knowledge.  If I was a footballer, I’d be tweeting, ‘we go again’ :-)

    It’s a tool, one that gets misused a lot (by me lmao), I’d really only use leverage for scalping dips like the one earlier - you can make a fortune doing that. But even that requires some good knowledge and balls of steel.

    And just like that, alts back to where they were 3 days ago... Bitcoin dominance is dumping though, bring a huge alt season!

    Here we go again - see xrp back up a bit.  I agree with what @CAFCsayer said above.  There must’ve been a lot of heavy hitters out there that could just see easy money.  The thing that bugged me is that almost everything else got sucked in.

    My hold on btc alone still had me in the green, despite the dip back down to $52k.  It was my reinvesting of xrp that hammered me and ate into my profits.  I saw consecutive days dips and on sat afternoon thought, could be a good time to go back in.  

    Lesson learned, no capital lost and still just in profit.

    Roll on BTC to $80k odd now please.  That’s what I would like.  Not sure that’s gonna happen any time soon.  I wonder where that leaves those that have big bets on it hitting 80 by the end of April.  I read somewhere that a lot of traders had that a figure.  I’d be amazed if that can still happen now
