So who is everybody putting in their squad now? Leaving out all the players from the greedy big six obviously.0
-
I'd genuinely take Shelvey3
-
FIFA will bottle it.0

I think you are probably right. But I really hope not, could actually make for quite an interesting tournament.SELR_addicks said:FIFA will bottle it.0 -
England squad? Let's see, a load of overpaid prima donnas.
Embarassed in the semi. Not me, the above bunch of clod hoppers!0 -
Starting 11 excluding anyone from the “Big 6”...

Swap max aarons in for ayling and I think that’s about as good as it could beThemightyath2 said:Starting 11 excluding anyone from the “Big 6”...

Reece james was terrific against man city. Properly good. Ive changed. Had the best traits of all the right backs put together. He starts now. Sorry tripps you cant come now.Ashley young anyone? Inter top...1

Come off it, 3 years ago there was a real argument for him to go as he was a good passer when we had a very functional (Dier, Delph) or pacy (Alli, Lingard etc) midfielders, but now we've got a lot of better options in Grealish, Mount, Foden etc.Jac_52 said:I'd genuinely take Shelvey0 -

Pope
Konsa, Coady, Mings
Aarons, Grealish, Phillips, Maddison, Bertrand
DCL, Ings.I’d actually enjoy watching that .2 -
Need to make room for Rice in that team!!wmcf123 said:Pope

Think West Ham will want Lingard on a permanent transfer if they can. If that happens he would walk into that side on current form for me.1

Oops apologies - forgot about him !Themightyath2 said:

Squads increased to 26 - should make things easier for Southgate. Allows him to include TAA as a third right back.3
-
Also allows Southgate to take a risk with the likes of Grealish (who has been injured)Themightyath2 said:Squads increased to 26 - should make things easier for Southgate. Allows him to include TAA as a third right back.0 -

Foden is England's best player and it's not even particularly close.
He's ripping PSG apart in a Champions League semi-final.7 -

Now there are 26 man squads I'd take the following strikers:
Kane
Calvert Lewin
Rashford
Watkins
Sterling
Lingard.

I think my squad currently is something like:
Pickford, Pope, Henderson
Trent, Trippier, Walker
Chilwell, Shaw
Mings, Keane, Maguire, Stones, Dier
Henderson, Rice, Bellingham
Sancho, Foden, Sterling, Grealish, Saka, Mount, Lingard
Kane, Calvert-Lewin, Watkins
4 -
Greenwood over Watkins for me . I’d also take Wan Bissaka ahead of Trippiercafcfan1990 said:I think my squad currently is something like:

You wouldn’t take Rashford?cafcfan1990 said:I think my squad currently is something like:

Knew I'd forgot someone! I'd probably drop Dier but then it's a little unbalanced, do we really need 11 attacking players? To be honest I would definitely take Rashford and wouldn't be overly fussed if Sancho, Lingard or Watkins didn't go.Sage said:

I really rate Wan Bissaka and Reece James, it's comfortably our best position. It's just that Wan Bissaka hasn't been capped yet and Trippier has always done well for England, including turning up in a major tournament. For me he deserves it, probably his last time in an England shirt. One tournament too early for Greenwood for me, he'll have his chance.wmcf123 said:

I'd probably take Rashford over Saka from your team, wont be surprised if he gets in ahead of Watkins thoughcafcfan1990 said:

Although would only begrudingly drop Saka, he's certainly good enough to be there0 -
Yeah I'm not expecting Saka to go but think he deserves it. Versatile too, could always go LWB in a back 3. Thing is I'm not sure if Rashford gets in at LW, because Sterling, Grealish, Foden can all play there. So maybe doubles as a striker meaning Watkins misses out.ForeverAddickted said:

Rashford always looks good against tired legs.
Worth a bench spot, even if he doesn’t start.4 -
Trippier regularly starts for the Spanish League leaders with one of the best defensive records in Europe. He has to go.4
