I heard it’s Andall Randall who has already signed. He’s a Spanish left back who used to play Swansea but he got a bit panicked around brexit and changed his name to try and avoid getting deported.3

We get these “player has already signed but the club are holding off announcing it’ theories every summer. Can anyone think of an example where that has actually happened?
When a player signs the club put it on the OS within a few hours at the most. We’ve never done anything different, as far as I can remember. If it ain’t on the OS, or at least Cawley hasn’t tweeted its done, then it ain’t done.WIOTOSOORCTF2 -

Taylor Richards from Brighton is one I thought looked quality last season.
Very similar to the way Aribo plays.
Haven’t seen him linked to anyone (or moved) but he’s be class in our midfield

6’ and out of contract next year. Maybe get a right to buy - although Brighton spent a lot buying him from Man City.0 -

Sorry to interrupt the bickering but........
if Ipswich want him they will pay him well over the going rate.

We haven't spent huge amounts maybe but we have spent money to get players we want to get.2 -
That’s the end of that one, Ipswich are in for him:

So is it this George Edmundson that's been locked in the laundry cupboard with the new kit ready for tomorrow?1
-
I wouldn't say just because Ipswich are in for him you can rule us out, if we even are in.
The problem is Inniss. Are you going to attract a good enough player to back him up or do you just get the best RCB you can and if Inniss can't get in the team, tough? That second option could be more expensive. I don't think you can get a loan as back up, unless it's an older player that someone wants off the wage bill.0 -

Or do you do you say Inniss is my first choice but might only play 20 games and you'll play the rest?
Its a difficult call, and to attract a loan, because center halves very rarely got the chance to force there way into the team through sub appearances. You bring an attacking player off the bench in almost every game.0 -

Such a CB would be very hard to find I grant you but for me Inniss cannot be counted on as a first choice defender for a whole season.4 -

Inniss is clearly a dominating force on the field but if he can’t stay fit, he’s not reliable enough to be first choice. If someone like Edmundson came in, sorry Ryan but you’re going to be spending a lot of time on the bench.1

I think Famewo is much less of an injury risk than Inniss.1
