Really like our midfield 3 and front 3. Defence is the worry for me.1

Very pleased with that. Only complaint is Pearce up to his old tricks. Famewo had a couple of shaky moments but grew into the game.
Other than that, very happy with the front three as well the midfield three. Matthews got forward we’ll and Gunter was solid enough down the left.0 -
I know you shouldn’t really bet on PSFs. Or against Charlton. Or on Palace. But are they not massively overpriced at 11/8??0

Yeah that was ok. Pretty encouraging thought Dobson looked promising. Would be nice to go on and win this despite it only being a friendly0

Good half for us imo. The midfield look class as it is currently set up. I have given Albie stick over the last year but pre season he has looked good hopefully this season he will deliver his potential1

DJ has looked very threatening this pre season. Now he's settled I think we'll see the best of him.
Albie is looking a quality player at times. Very comfortable carrying the ball across midfield.
Washington has been a good outlet on the left as well, great work rate and dangerous cutting in.
For the first time in a while we look to have a midfield which is functioning pretty well. It's got... balance and a little bit of dynamism.
Let's forget the defensive lapse. We look like a team out there. A couple of extra first 11 additions and we should be good this season, barring terrible injuries.11 - Sponsored links:

Said at the start that line up would still get top 6 well I correct myself top 2 after watching that first half very impressed with our passing our pressing and our attacking threat … expect second half we will see loads of subs but first half we are in the right track and we are not far away ….
