I was told on Friday, by a very reliable source very close to someone who would know at the club, that Kirk will be signing for us but not in time for Saturday. However, the rumour that Stoke have now come on the scene is highly worrying! If true, that reliable info I was given may now be in jeopardy…..so it’s 🤞🤞🤞 everyone.
It was posted on here yesterday that Stoke played wing backs and Doughty didn't start yesterday, so not sure why they'd want to sign another winger to warm the bench.

We desperately need to start getting something over the line …. Other teams in our league have managed it. I know some people have said patience is a virtue but the danger is it’s gonna turn in to a last minute panic over the dross that nobody else wants

Agreed. We're not there yet, but you don't want to get to the end of the window still not having landed one of the permanent targets, as then there's the danger of overpaying or panic buys

It’s just noise .. from various sites .. but the news coming out of Crewe yesterday was he was signing for us on Monday .. they should know
