    Old news - I think it's a given that we were talking to Kirk and had agreed a deal with Crewe. All Nixon is doing is saying SU (replace with any other team) will have to act quickly (i.e. before the pen is put to the contract).

    Where does it say that they have left it too late and the deal is irreversibly done?

    Wage cap went, squad limit didn't despite objections from the PFA amongst others.
