David Platt and the unlucky Dean Ashton to name a couple more talents from the Crewe stable who were top players.
    Addicks legend Rob Hulse.
We’ve had a lot worse (not saying he was great)

he now works in a hospital as a physio
I’ll probably get pelters for saying this, but I didn’t mind him at all.

Just watching the premier league debate show on YouTube and Gary Neville talks about how Salford are really struggling to bring players in due to the market being so slow, I assume it’s the same with us and all clubs
didn't realise Salford had made it to the PL already

Gazza can't believe they missed out on Sancho and he chose that lot up the road. ;)

I'm sure he scored a few goals for us and didn't play much either. Thought he was decent

Hulse linked up well with Danny Haynes, especially in the 5-2 win over Cardiff.

After signing Kirk I would be surprised if Soloman Otomar or Sims was under consideration.

Surely we would need a left footed Winger now. DJ and Kirk are both right footed.

    Ventokele
    Rich Crawley
    John Humphreys.

Have not a clue what you are on about. Considering I wrote Danny Murphy, then you produced  this plus Henners got it at least, then I would say neither do you have a clue either.
Who the fuck is Henners ?
My god man, its not rocket science!

Only rocket science is rocket science.  Stating the bleedin obvious. A strange private joke that amuses you .
Henners is the lady in charge of all the catering at Sparrows Lane. She's very dedicated.

Sadly alot of that was Bowyer. He played Vennings/Morgan/Dempsey in the Championship and we actually competed ok. Drop down an entire league and he could not stop mentioning how unready they were and in need for a loan.

    You're a wanker.

P.S. no, not stating the bleedin obvious - it completes the chant!

I think Rob Hulse was great for us. Not a brilliantly talented footballer but the job he did while we were without Yann was absolutely essential to use surviving in that first year. He scored in that legendary Cardiff game and was instrumental in us getting points against Huddersfield and Burnley. Considering we went into that Cardiff match feeling a bit like we were out of our depth in the league, he was a big part of us steadying and then eventually surviving comfortably. Not a huge amount of time spent at the club or a set of virtuoso performances, but a solid part of our great couple of years under Powell. Think how many points adrift we could have been without Hulse with Yann, Haynes and Fuller injured in various combinations

“We competed ok”?  The stretch in that championship season where they predominantly played we went from a playoff place to fighting for relegation over the course of 3 months. At one point, I think we lost 8 straight.  The youth were not even remotely of the quality at that point for any sort of league football let alone the championship.  I don’t blame the kids for that or Bowyer - it was down to squad depth because of ownership.  Vennings and Dempsey at that point in their careers and currently are not good enough for League one so Bowyer asking for loans was the sensible thing to do if we weren’t financially able to bring in anyone on a permanent.  Albie certainly has the most potential but him having to Covid quarantine for a few weeks because he went to a party and then in his first game back with the u23s, failing to track back in defense multiple times really hurt his chances on being selected by Bowyer with the squad.  Bowyer certainly has his faults but I don’t blame him for the heavy reliance on loan players

What has that to do with Murphy and why would I be expected  to know about catering at Sparrows Lane?
    Transparency or something?

Are we expected to be in for every player in the transfer market?
Obviously yes else it shows a total lack of money on the owners part and/or effort on Gallen.  Either that or Rody is sabotaging the whole thing.

Or not depending on your view.

Roddy needs not to intervene , now he’s got his lad a deal

West ham signed him from Silkeborg, he spent a couple of seasons playing in the same side as Schwartz before Ronnie got his move to the Danish champs Midtjylland

Apart from it being confirmed by a player how much more evidence that he isn't his son do people want?
