'What about fans that actually purchased tickets to the game' was literally thr very first comment I saw.

Man, our fans are bunch of moaners. We've become like the Arsenal of the South.

Because there’s always someone unhappy on social media.

Some you win some you lose, clearly boosting sales on the stream, hardly worth getting all het up about a shirt is it, if you are going enjoy the game B)

They are questioning why those who have purchased tickets for the game are not included

To be fair it should include those who are going.

Couldn't they just throw in another bloody shirt for those with tickets as a separate draw, wouldn't break the bank would it ffs, then we are all happy bunnies  B)

It’s clearly a little PR push as this is the first full CharltonTV league game of the season. Club trying to get a few more people to sign up and get a higher viewer figure. Those going to the actual game have the benefit of seeing Kirk play for the first time in our shirt.

Fed up now that people (mostly on Twitter it seems) constantly feel the need to point out a negative to every single thing the club do at the moment. It’s getting ridiculous.

    Worth a try though I thought,...Mmmm B)
  • The desperation to moan about something, anything, is unbelievable. It's a chuffing competition to win something nice (but relatively low key) which some people have a chance to do, at short notice, without expectation or lost expectation around who does and doesn't qualify; and there are some other people who won't have a chance to win something they didn't know about at the time they decided to attend the match. Who is to say there might be something nice for a different group of people to potentially win in future?

It must be exhausting to be semi-permanently aggrieved.

And when they win the shirt they can moan about it being 'the wrong red', would have preferred a different coloured sponsor' or why cant it be the 3rd kit (but without the grey bit).

his shirt will be far too small for a muscular hunk like me ( :)) .. so I'm out (going to MK anyway)

  • I'm not going on Tuesday and I've got a prior commitment so can't watch it on the stream.

Is there a competition for fans who are doing neither?

You'd think he was, especially given the amount of times his name got mentioned by the fans in replies to anything that the official account posted prior to him signing!!

It's all very well but when is he actually going to sign it?  Don't want to be waiting for weeks.

I genuinely saw the word 'discriminating' on the Twitter thread. People actually feel they're being discriminated against for not being incentivised to purchase something they already weren't going to purchase and probably weren't going to win anyway if they did. It's no wonder people are losing their minds about not having the players they want when they get upset about a free shirt being given away. I WANT EVERYTHING AND I WANT IT NOW

    What!
This is unfair on season ticket holders that are away on holiday and haven’t got a computer.
Why not have three signed shirts so everyone can join in. 😉

I think EVERYONE should get a signed shirt, just to dispel the time old adage that "Life just ain't fair mate!"
  • I will win my free shirt the traditional way. Waiting at the front of the stand and stealing from the hands of a young child after the players throw it to them at the end of the game.

Is there the option to opt out cos I don't want to win a third division footballers shirt during the shittiest footballing period in our history
