[cite]Posted By: vancouveraddick[/cite][cite]Posted By: uncle[/cite]I wont be renewing because i didnt have one this year but i will be getting one this year. I'm thinking lower north
We all know what this means - Nice one uncle - I'd recommend Upper North personally though.
excellent :-)0 -
I've renewed, will probably move seats though.
Apart from the lower north, I don't think lowering the prices further would lead to more people renewing.[cite]Posted By: addic4lyf1991[/cite]the thing that has annoyed me about this is that they have only knocked off like £25 plus im 18 now and going uni so i wont be able to renew. i know their running a business but i don't see why they didn't knock off £100, at least their would then be a chance that we may be able to get a packed stadium. i know they have to run a business profitably however, if your getting higher attendances sponsorship will be easier, also it is likely that business will not be able to give a lower price for advertising at the valley. plus they could always just increase the prices on the food........... in the jimmy seed stand.0 -
just done via the OS0

Come June/July I should have the money to0
-
Did mine before the game on saturday. North lower, you'll be in good company Uncle.;-)0
-
posted mine off. Was planning to pay by credit card knowing that it would be nearly eight weeks before the bill would need to be paid. However, a £5 surcharge? What is that all about. And that is per applicant so if you are renewing for four that is another £20 to pay. Outrageous. Never done it before, why start now. Hardly encouraging renewals is it.0

why a nightmare? i always pay mine by direct debit. easy.0 -
Think it' s because they took it out on the wrong date (had arranged a date) i.e just before payday causing a 'missed' payment, there was all sorts of confusion with mine. Was a personal problem, it's probably not a nightmare.0

I was renewing this morning for my son and I. After taking all our details I was informed there would be an extra £10 CC surcharge because there are 2 of us.
Changed my mind. Can you imagine the uproar if tesco's pulled this stunt
Trying to get an extra £10 has cost them £6000 -
I did it online with a credit card and at no point was a £5 surcharge mentioned before or after completion.0
-
done mine and thinking of joining valley gold for the first time just to add my support to the future.0

It says on the application "A surcharge of £5 per applicant applies to credit card purchases over £100.This surcharge does not apply to payments made via debit or cheque, or to purchases under £100, and can be avoided altogether by applying online".0 -
Just done mine. I feel at peace with the world now :-)0

I think the club made a mistake with the £5 charge - should have added it to the S/T price and there would not have been this upset - reduce S/T by £45 not £50 and we would have been none the wiser. Would the difference have made any difference?
I would get bent out of shape if Tescos pulled this but I am not getting upset about this - the money goes to my club - in the greater scheme of things don't we have more to worry about as individuals and as a club?
If it is a problem - pay by debit card.0
