Men against boys springs to mind - Robson and Stoneman are 32 and 34 respectively whereas the bowlers used are 17, 19, 19, 20, 22, 23 & 25killerandflash said:

Heading for 3rd division success. An omen perhaps for Charlton...MrOneLung said:We have hit form in Championship about 6 months too late !3 -
Do we know what happens next season? Is it back to two divisions? Does this season's outcome have any bearing ? Can we get promoted ?killerandflash said:

Now that the likes of Denly, Billings and Crawley have returned, on paper at least, our batting line up with Leaning, Cox, Robinson and Stevens is as strong as it has been in years. Our bowling in the last few seasons (Stevens, Milnes and Podmore in particular) has been top draw, especially during the period when we had an overseas of the calibre of Henry and Milne. We also, at last, appear to have unearthed a spinner capable of doing a decent job in the shape of James Logan.
Which all makes it all the more disappointing that we find ourselves playing at the level we currently are.2 -

I think this season is still classed as a one off in terms of the previous divisional structurePico said:

It might return though the last thing I read was that there would be a vote from all the counties at the end of September and that two thirds were in favour of the current set up as it gives all counties a chance of winning the titlekillerandflash said:

It certainly has created more interest at the start of the season, though it's hard to get excited by our 3rd division matches now, where we have nothing to win or lose reallyAddick Addict said:
