I doubt he will end up in L1 - Bowyer will take him on to make Deeney / Taylor a dream social media forward partnership.

TBF I know a lot of Forest fans from living down this neck of the woods and they all became pretty disillusioned with Hughton so not sad to see him go, however I think there are much wider issues they are concerned with around the overall running of the club at the moment.
However I think all of them would be pretty happy if Lyle also made true on his promise of 'Getting out of here'.All of them describe him as a waste of space.
I don't watch much of Forest other than highlights so not sure if the step up has proved to much, whether it's just not worked out for him or whether it truly has been an issue with the manager's tactics and maybe he could come good under whoever takes over.
I disliked what he did to this club as much as every other fan but he was a proper quality player throughout his time here and I thought he'd be an instant success at Forest. In his defence he won't be the first or last player signed on big money at that club who hasn't worked out, if Arter is earning 37k a week at Forest does anyone have any idea what Lyle is rumoured to be on? Surely it's more?0 -

It’s a man’s game, said the bloke who didn’t want to play in case he hurt himself.51

Amazing how much he changes when confident/cocky/scores a goal.1

Forest fans clearly don't rate him with various comments below, quite funny.0

That's actually quite funny, but Lyle wouldn't get the irony of it all!!!! I inadvertently caught a bit of MOTDX on Friday night. Was shocked to see that Taylor was featured. It had nothing to do with football though, although he did witter on abt getting forest "back where they belong" etc. It was about his cancer fundraiser and dyeing his hair. Charlton got a mention as a boys team all dyed their hair pink a few years ago. They showed some good pics of the kids. Taylors gaff looks annoyingly plush. Out in the countryside and he had a couple of llamas in a field out back! Tosser.

I can't imagine a team away from London buying into all his crap. He's like a lesser version of Anthony Joshua.....flat track bully, cocky and boastful, then suddenly the world's most humble person ever. Choose who you want to be.8

absolute prick for what he done - but i do think he is quite funny - loved him when he was with us for his attitude and winding up opposition2

He was always an absolute prick, it's just quite easy to enjoy it when it's being directed at other teams. He's a low-rent shithouse though, no subtlety to his game. Now Yann, that was a proper shithouse; you never knew what he'd said, he never got caught, but he literally made men angry enough to try to strangle him on at least two different occasions at The Valley. I'll never forget him managing to make James Beattie so angry in the space of a minute that he levelled up our red card before play had even restarted. Yann also used to be loveable while he did it, whereas with Lyle you always felt a bit dirty having him on your side. Lyle's not on the same planet as a footballer or as a bastard.

It’s annoying because he’s actually an intelligent bloke who can express an opinion and is one of the few footballers who can be interesting to listen to when talking.
And he’s also a very good footballer on his day.
But I don’t think even Scott Parker will be looked upon as disappointingly as Taylor after what happened. There’s a very good chance we would still be a Championship club had he not done what he did.33 -

Find him quite hard to listen to now. He really hid behind Covid for self-gain, not for "protecting" his future or family, as we would have given him a good contract offer, and so would have other teams.
But I'm going around in circles again now. Where's the Bonne thread now ;-)0 -

I'm not sure I've ever been more disappointed in the actions of a Charlton player.

That aside, I can’t help but laugh at the antics with the Preston player.4 -

A footballer may look at what he did and say “He was pretty brave, but look where he is from a monetary perspective now”
He is well spoken, delivers his point well and is thoughtful in the way he communicates. Doesn’t necessarily mean I agree with him all the time or that all his decisions are correct.Actually, before he downed tools on us I used to enjoy his interviews as he was one of the very few really insightful and interesting characters who could speak well. I’m sure many of us thought the same.3 -
For some reason my Facebook page today had a 4 minute video after we had beaten Luton 3-1 in April 2019 enroute to the play offs.
Great atmosphere, he was applauding the covered end as we sang his name, whilst walking off to do the tunnel jump. I bloody loved him whilst he was here. Really thought he got what playing for us meant.
So sad how it ended.22
