Fair point. Fernandinho is in his last year, and Gundogan is getting on.orpingtonRED said:
Pep is not silly he would defo be in for Rice even with Rodri.Ross said:
The only team that need him is Man United. Not as if they’re setting the world alight though.orpingtonRED said:How much will Declan Rice be sold for?
Just keeps on improving
Chelsea have Kante, Liverpool have Fabinho, City have Rodri.
I could see Kante going to PSG, and Rice to Chelsea to reunite with his best mate Mount.
Different type of player, but surely comparable money wise to Grealish, so £100m?
But yeh a Chelsea return seems most likely.
However, would they spend another 50-100m on a midfielder when they need a striker? They can’t keep playing Foden in a false 9…0 -
Chelsea could cover the fee with disposals as well.orpingtonRED said:

City will surely target a proper No 90 -
City have to be in for Kane (given his obvious disinterest this season) or Haaland in the summer surely?2

Wonder if they'll go all out even more for Kane in JanuaryChris_from_Sidcup said:City have to be in for Kane (given his obvious disinterest this season) or Haaland in the summer surely?
They need a consistent Striker, else I feel this season is Chelsea's to lose, even more so than it is already.
Dunno if it says more about Man City that they've only scored one extra goal than Man Utd this season, that they're level with West Ham for goals scored this season - Or whether its the fact that West Ham have managed to score so many0 -
Imagine if they get Kane(eventually) and Rice. Pep would have half the England team.Ross said:

It depends what Conte's demands are in going to Spurs. If he demands (as you'd expect) a huge transfer outlay then i don't see how Spurs fund that without selling Kane. If they have 100m+ sitting around to spend why haven't they spent it before now?2 -
That would be mental, but I still think Haaland is the better option in terms of longetivity.orpingtonRED said:

Dele, Holjberg, Ndombele, Lo Celso, all dropping value.
I'm actually surprised Conte is taking this job.

City are missing a No 9, whatever Pep says. Yes they'll still win loads of games and score loads of goals, but that's because they have world class players elsewhere on the pitchForeverAddickted said:

They already had loads of talent in wide positions, Grealish strengthened a position they didn't urgently need to strengthen1 -

Having Jiminez must really be helping though, given how they struggled even last season without him.0 -
Benitez is dog shit.Fluked a champions league in the miracle in Istanbul, was out performed by Steve Bruce at Newcastle (whilst somehow persuading the fans he was brilliant) and tried to sell Xabi Alonso in order to buy Gareth Barry2
-
They also lost Jota just before the season started, and Fabio Silva was a flop as a replacement strikerForeverAddickted said:

Hwang has settled in much more quickly, despite not speaking Portuguese!1 -

There were a couple of games last season when I saw them play and I thought he looked good, and very good for his age, great movement.ForeverAddickted said:

Seems those games were outliers so far.

Yep and we are helping fund it for them…👍Chris_from_Sidcup said:
Yeah he's doing an amazing job, i thought they might struggle a bit what with balancing European football as well, but they're top of their Europa group, into the league cup quarters (beating United and City) and are top 4 in the league.ValleyGary said:Can’t knock what Moyes has done at West Ham.0 -
Silva is still only 19. He might become a top class striker, but he's not there yet and surely Wolves needed someone ready now, especially for £35m!North Lower Neil said:

Seems like barring any last minute hitches, Conte will sign his Spurs contract today.
