    I cant see how fans can be happy starting a football match with just 2 strikers in a squad of 18. Strikers are there to score goals. Yes, other players chip in but seeing as a striker plays nearest to the goal than anyone else it stands to reason that they are going to get more goals.


    I judge the manager on the score after 90 minutes plus injury time.

    We have one of our main strikers away on international duty. Who would you have had on the bench instead that realistically could have come on and made a difference today?

    burstow? Would you really bring him on to play up top on his own when we are away trying to hold on for a win?

    can you point out how you’ve been proved right? You said that we would lose because we didn’t have a striker on the bench. Did we lose? Nope, we won!!!!!!!!!

    It's been a decent performance by Charlton but this Burton side is a shadow of the one that thrashed us last year.

    Dont understand the concern from that half - We werent at our best going forward but Burton for the most part were a load of guff.

    True but that was because we’d been very poor up to then, now we have Lavelle, Famewo and Stockley missing. So a kid at centre half and just one available striker.
