Rushden clearly hated doing this compared to Lovejoy and Goldstein, proper wet blanket who obviously thought it was degrading to the women.Callumcafc said:0 -
Ha! This was the other night at Canada vs Costa Rica. Do I get any Charlton Life respect points for having seen the subject of a viral tweet, shared on here, live?guinnessaddick said:0 -
I’m sorry, but I have to comment on this. I have been aching to get around to The Royal Oak for a meal but life hasn’t allowed the time just yet, but I must protest.North Lower Neil said:Hmm.This is not a traditional English breakfast.First and foremost, hash brown is North American not English.
If you want potato, it should be fried slices.
Secondly, where is the bubble and squeak? Traditionally made from leftovers from the previous evening meal.
Thirdly, why are the beans in a bowl? This should be sacrilege to any Englishman, those juices should be allowed to flow. (Traditionally, they should be replaced with fried tomatoes).
Last but not least, where is the toast?
DISCLAIMER!The above comments are only my opinion.
I have not done any research into a true English breakfast, only what my Mum use to cook for us, although she was Irish, so we had white pudding as well. (Most products were Galtee procured from my uncles pub).
I am a little bit drunk, as it is the back end of my birthday weekend, and having to drive to Burton 😃 yesterday and help my daughter move today, this evening is the first chance I have had to have a proper drink.
So please excuse any obnoxiousness!
Love and peace

Almost agree, but baked beans have no place either. An English breakfast should only consist of ingredients reared on an English farm or grown in the surrounding fields:-muppetman said:

muppetman.
Bacon, sausage, eggs, mushrooms, black pudding, grilled tomato, fried potato, fried bread, toast, butter. One concession to overseas product is tea. Anything else is nonsense.
