Wonder how many Lookman scored for our U18s before being called up.Chris_from_Sidcup said:
He was the last player I remember seeing on the scoresheet as often as Daniel0 -
Not sure if he has played for them yet, but surely Kanu will be moved to the U23s soon?
He can just move back to the U18s for the youth cup games.1 -
No need to rush him - he's just turned 17Chris_from_Sidcup said:Not sure if he has played for them yet, but surely Kanu will be moved to the U23s soon?

Let him finish the season with the 18's and go from there rather than heap pressure on him2 -
Just seen on Kanus Instagram that we won 6-0 against Watford today. Another goal and assist for Kanu too. Really hope we get to see him in a first team shirt at some point7

Six goals are so last year.
Or to be fair are so game after game after game……….0 -

Is that us flexing about how our youth team plays like Man City? Because...our youth team plays like Man City0
-
I mean, scoring from 40 yards against Millwall will always win the prize, but that 3rd goal against Reading is the one that truly excites me0

Not heaping pressure on him, it's the U23s not a league game away at Millwall.Swisdom said:

My thinking was more that given he seems to score in practically every game for the U18s, is it not a case of he's outgrown that level and needs to step up?0 -
Scoring for the U23s against Millwall.... Is a different kettle of fishChris_from_Sidcup said:

One slight error in that report - The U18s are now 4 points clear with one game in hand.1

Kanu, Leaburn, Reilly, Lapado... You would hope at least two of those make the grade.. just have to hope they sign!2

That's 30 goals plundered in the U18s' last seven outings in all competitions
34 goals in 10 league games, so far, this season1 -
This was TS' stated mission. We're seeing it blossom. This is Charlton's golden generation right here. Two more years.2

1-2 down to QPR after half an hour
Dk with the goal
Kanuuuu2 -
2-3. Kanu again with a slick finish from the edge of the box after a Adigun through ball was half blocked

3-3
who else but DK3 -
Feels like another Jermaine Defoe situation. He’s surely to good to sign a contract with us?Have we ever had a youth striker so prolific?1
-
Shame he’s not a year older or so, because with the amount of dead rubbers we are going to have in April, could easily blood him in.0
-
4-3 up now
diminutive left back Toby Bower with the finish
he really has a sweet left foot on him2 -
Are we going to get to 6 again??
Hope the rumour on here yesterday that Kanu has signed is true.2 -
5-3
Kanu again. Pace, movement and a quality finish in off the post from a perfect trough ballJesus he’s good8 -
The amount he scores I really think if he signs / has signed a contract then he should be given a go in the first team. I know people talk about over exposure of kids but there is a difference between the odd game/few minutes to see how he does, and lobbing him on as a starter for continual games not matter what form he is in because you have no one else (like KAG was)6
