Today I will mostly be listening to ....

The Chords - So Far Away album

My favourite band from the mod revival era. Going to see the latest incarnation of the band (The Chords UK) at the 100 Club in Feb, for the release party of their new album. Their drummer is an Addick.

New Cat Power CD - "Covers" which, unsurprisingly are, er, Covers.  Her 3rd such album of Covers - but she always does covers with her own take on them, like this brilliant version of the Stones' Satisfaction.

She has a great voice.
