With the way the game works these days...
Jackson can use these fixtures as pre pre season friendlies.
Tell the squad to put themselves on the market for the summer transfer window...if they want out.
Or, whether it's true or not, inform them about next season's positive objectives.
The players decide on their future these days.
Everyone needs to speak out and be honest about what they want.
Hopefully, at least Dobson and stockley are settled and they want success at our club - because they feel at home and want to stay put.1 -
Just gives you an idea of how far off it we are1 -
Exactly this. If Jackson has any sense he would use the last few games of the season to try and demonstrate a style of play that he wants next season. If players dont feature in that then dont play them regardless of if means we have less chance of winning. Use it as a shop window for next season as if we happen to win the next few games playing the shite he is dishing up at the moment I cant see many of those people who took the free tickets clamouring to but ST's for next seasonDave2l said:With the way the game works these days...

Well we managed to get one of those five goals so we stand some chance

It is a game where we could be a threat. I would go as far as to say, we ought to be a threat as we have decent players and they have all the pressure on them. But experience tells me that Charlton are quite a kind team to opponents in these circumstances. Of course, any indicator that things are changing in this respect is more than welcome0

Is there a sweepstake on which one of JJ,s wankers get the red card today…. I’m going for two yellows rather than straight red, an think it will be Stockley or Lee.0

2-0 Rotherham with them barely getting out of second gear.
CBT comes off due to constantly having to be our sole outlet and develops asthma after 20 mins.
Famewo perfects kicking into touch 2 yards from the try line.
Stockley flaps his arms around 14 times in 22 seconds setting a new record for arm flailing.
Half time analysis finally uncovers that Gilbey is a keen horticulturist, his pointing, apparently, to bare patches of turf in need of reseeding.

Hopefully @ 5.30pm one will come through !
Not sure which one is the wilder bet 3.00 at Rotherham or 5.15 at Aintree?0 -
11/2 on Paddy Power now, despite the flood of bets from two Charlton fans 🙂2

All the premier league games available with my TV package here, so in two minds whether I even bother watching. We can’t defend, easy to run against, can’t stop the wide through balls, allow people to cut in and shoot….our midfield gets run through and is seemingly outnumbered and overrun…..and we don’t score enough to make up for those deficiencies.
if we remember how we played against Sunderland or Ipswich or even these guys at home we would have a chance, but those days seem long gone.
Suspect this might be a big loss, also suspect I’ll spend a miserable 2 hours watching it0 -

Glad I talked myself into it. Enjoyed that one.FishCostaFortune said:Not sure I’ll be watching this one. Where as there is the slight expectation we will put on a decent performance against teams lower in the league (we never do), not sure I want to watch Rotherham batter us for 90 minutes.
That being said the last time I felt like this and missed a match we beat Sunderland! And the best we played under Jackson was probably Second half against Rotherham at the valley.
Jesus. I think I’m talking myself into it.1 -
Might be a stipulation of the loan?RoanRedNY said:
