I don't buy the idea that the club weren't heavily involved in that design
i don't think they care that you don't

Good for them, I wouldn't care either, but as I'm regularly told, this is a forum to express views, so that's what I'm doing.
i wasn't trying to belittle your view rothko, i was saying that the club don't care and dont care that some 4 foot bloke from se london doesnt buy it.

I hear Castore based our home kit on the Danish flag to please Sandgaard.

    Red shirts and white shorts.

White is a dumb colour for a change strip for a team whose home strip is black and white stripes.

Third kit I believe so imagine they’ll wear whenever they want.

Said to my mate when he showed me that kit that it would make a great away (or third) kit for us

Swap the colours to blue and black and it’s not dissimilar to an old Admiral/Woolwich one.

Castore are in the midsts of opening a large store at The O2 arena…

perhaps a reason they’re sponsoring us?

    New club shop
  • Has anyone seen the new Castore kits yet?

I don't expect a leaked image but in previous years we've had teasers from those ITK that we're not going to be disappointed etc. Other clubs seem to have had new kit images appearing but I can't find anything on Charlton. Perhaps we have to wait for the absolute end of the EFL season as we're changing manufacturer.

The club & Castore didn't do any workshops like Hummel did so I doubt anyone bar Wayne Mumford has seen the kit.

I know someone who’s seen it but they couldn’t even tell me the manufacturer!  Useless, I know. I have let them know!

when I asked about it I was told it’s plain & simple, and red.  There you go! A world exclusive

fwiw I was informed about Castore at the start of the season so I’m fairly sure it is them.

I'd be happy with a red version of the Rangers kit the other night.

Seeing as we’re in an upgraded borough will it now be Castore Royal.

I wouldn’t, but also wouldn’t be surprised if it is the same.

Boring. I assume the shoulders and under arms would be white, even so - boring

Most of the Castore kits are pretty plain and simple so would expect the same.

That’s all it needs to be. I’d take what you describe in a heartbeat.

Hummel were good for a couple of years but the overdetailing on recent efforts has been a bit tacky IMO.

that Castore mock up looks like a training shirt. The best shirts have collars

Been told its based on the back to the valley theme of the 92 kit. Makes sense.

    Edit: It is Castore

Didn't we do that under Hummel already?

That’s what I thought when I was told but guessing they want to make something more with 30 years back at the valley later this year. Was that kit just limited to sale in the shop? Never used for first team capacities.

Was worn just once, against Portsmouth for the 25th anniversary game in December 2017. Not a great match, but still a really nice kit

I stand corrected. Still not surprised it’s being reworked/reused for the 30th anniversary season. It’s certainly going to be Castore’s take on it.
