    What Dan has said is basically correct, except the screen is divided into removable blocks, each one with a seperate power source. These keep blowing (hence the blackouts), the engineers thought it was something to do with earthing and that it would take a few days work to sort out.

    I reckon someone with semaphore flags standing in that corner constantly giving out information would be ideal.
